1.
Yep, using some chestnut from the garden in my Mum and Dad's old house.
Sounds great. Remember to post some pics when it arrives!
 2.
Hartke LH500? Also; is that 200w into 4 or 8 ohms?
That'll be into 4 ohms, but it's still outrageously loud for such a light and compact thing considering it's not digital switching and all that modern technology stuff...
 3.
Very nice example of a classic amp. I had one of these as my first "proper" amp. Great amp, great seller, what's not to like?
You are most kind, Gareth! Did I see somewhere you're in discussion with Paul for another Wal??
 4.
What Is the B string like on this great looking bass?
It's great Chris - it feels like it belongs with the rest of the strings, and not like it was added as an afterthought, if you know what I mean. Clear, crisp, very resonant. I'm sure you'd like it!
 5. Still here... off to eBay soon if there are no takers...

 8. Fantastic bass - I'm not given to hyperbole, but Chris Celinder makes amazing instruments. I've owned many 'high-end' basses over the years, Wal, Sadowsky, Sei, USA Lakland, Status, GB, Fender Custom Shop etc., but there's something indefinable about Celinders that sets them apart - if a bass can have a soul, these have one that is more alive than any other. Without exaggeration, the best jazz bass I've ever played. Suffice to say I own one of these.
 9.
Erm, anything in particular you might be looking for trade-wise? Cheers Geoff
Surprise me!
 10.
I'd love a 5 string P bass, I was only saying to someone at college the other day that they don't come up for sale too often.
Now's your chance!!
 11.
Had one for years. Got rid of it. Realised my mistake. Got another. Love it. Not the lightest cab (understatement) but the reward for a minor bit of effort in carting it about is a truly phenomenal bass cabinet. I've now got castors on mine which make such a difference. Have a bump LRH! T
You are most kind, sir! And absolutely spot on about the cab - makes me wonder if I should keep it and go and get some chunky castors too...
 12. Russ bought a strap from me - a very smooth, completely painless transaction. Thanks!
 13. Ian bought my rack bag. Smooth, straightforward transaction, great communication. Thanks!
 14. Thanks for copying the pics topo - I couldn't get them to upload - must have an old browser!
 15. For sale is a brand spanking new USA Standard Precision 5 that I bought and imported from the States myself just a few weeks ago. This particular bass is a bit unusual in as much as I bought the body and neck seperately, then they were put together here - you can't actually buy one of the new olympic white P5s with a maple neck, as far as I'm aware! It sounds fantastic, plays wonderfully, and is light (4kg) but very well balanced. I'm selling it with a Thomann hard case (not the Hiscox shown in the pics - sorry, I need to keep that one!) Why am I selling? Well, you'd think I should know by now, but I'm really a jazz bass man at heart. I also have a requirement for a compact 5 string for an upcoming tour, so something has to go to pay for it, unfortunately! The eagle-eyed amongst you may have spotted it has stacked knobs, but that's because it currently has a John East P-Retro fitted, which I'm planning to keep for another project, but I could be persuaded to leave it in. Sorry, but no trade offers please - I need the cash for the replacement! By the way, if you know anyone with a Status Streamline/S2/Empathy/Stealth headless 5-String for sale, do let me know... Dave Can't get photos to upload at the moment, but I've stuck them up on Photobucket here: http://s1141.beta.ph...20P5%20Standard NOW SOLD - THANKS FOR ALL YOUR INTEREST
 16.
Junction 10! Down the road ... I need to sell a laptop to buy this, unless you want to do a swap nice bit of kit ...
That might have worked nicely, but I just got a new one not long ago! B*gger!! Anything else to swap?
 17.
Bump for my buddy
Thanks Lou!!
I'm gigging one of these at the moment. Fabulous tone and way more volume than you'd think for 200 watts.
You're quite right Kenny - it's really got some b*llocks to it, and it's not a heavyweight either. Ta for the bump.
