1. Right, grit my teeth... FINAL price drop... £1150. If it doesn't go at this price, I'm keeping it! Actually, might be a good move for when my back finally goes...
 2. Did I mention that at only a whisker over 8 lbs, it's light as a feather, but with a big sound?? (Have a look at the YouTube clip at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAhqQQHVrTE )

 5.
I had a 751 in Vegas last year - brilliant. Paul Turner & Jimmy Sims swear by them too. A great choice methinks. N
...but does this mean I'll have to sell the bairn to buy an aggie 810, Nick??
 6.
You are gonna love it, I'm sure. After having played Ampegs, GKs, Ashdowns....I've been using a DB751 for a few months now and, for me, it's the best amp ever! I've played both and I pefered the tone on the 751, the change they did to the Mids has made a big difference, not saying I didn't like the 750 because it's a great amp and some people prefer it over the new 751....the 751 it does look a bit cheaper but the tone is there. Good luck with the sale, DB750 an awesome amp people.
I haven't actually tried a 751, just taking a bit of a flyer on what I know of the 750, and recommendations from people I know. Good to hear more positive words. There doesn't seem to be a review piece on BC yet, perhaps I'll post one once it arrives. Checked your band's site by the way - sounds great!
 7.
My dear Dave...........you're so compulsive!
Well.... I just shifted my Status, and the '51 Precision 5's on the way on Tuesday pending the usual, so... don't tell the missus!!
 8. Blimey... if only you'd posted this a few days ago - I've just ordered a new DB751 !! Great amp though it was, the DB750's discontinued now though - were they ever 2K ?? Bass Merchant are doing the DB751 for £1499 including delivery...

 10.
Forgot to mention it's maple facings and mahogany core...
...and forgot to mention that it's got the 18v 3-band eq with mid cut/boost switch similar to an S2. I've owned an S2, and the Empathy's got much more punch, grunt and sustain...
 11.
I know they will... but at the moment there's interest, but a dearth of cash, I fear... time is running out...
YouTube passing 100 views celebration bump...
 12. Sorry... I need to 'thin out the herd' to raise funds for a new rig - if I may suggest going on bended knee to friends/family/cash machines (a necessary evil sometimes) then we can both be happy?...
