1. Yup, it can be atrudge across the sand if you forget summat. Not happened yet though. Usually get the van towed in and out by the friendly staff so we can easy load thru the back door.
 2. Played The Watering Hole in Perranporth last night - its always a fantastic gig. Took our big PA (6k HK, Mackie, Peavey etc) and shook the walls. Couple of hundred people in there going berserk by the second set. They nearly managed to topple a PA stack over with a bit of exuberant moshing to RATM Killing in the name of....! My 3rd time there and it just gets better every time. Bob the owner really looks after us with a food/drink tab for the couple of days we are there as its a 300 mile trip down from London and we stay for a couple of days usually. Cant wait for the next one on Aug Bank Holiday.
 3. Playing at the Watering Hole tonight on the beach. Usually my favourite gig - great crowd, vibe, venue and staff all make it a special one. Onstage 930pm if anyones at a loose end down here.
 4. Buy a Spector Euro if funds are limited or an American Spector NS2 if youre flush Job done
 5. Nope theyve gone. Electromusic still have about 6 basses and a bunch of straps in there - inc a nice Sandberg - which may be a "make us an offer" sort of thing.
 6.
Cheers chaps, all of those replies helped heaps. Chris-B - yup I've played the TH500 a couple times. Nice head for sure, but it didn't do anything for me that the Shuttle couldn't match other than provide more onboard distortion, but tbh not the sort of distortion I generally go for. Loz196 - I like your thinking, but the Fusion also adds quite a bit of size/weight along with those valves. I didn't dare tempt myself by trying it because my rig has to stay small for now. Delberthot - thanks man, good to hear from someone who's used both. Sounds like we've been attracted by the same things. To cut a long (4 hour) story short, I ended up buying the MB500 this afternoon. I physically couldn't leave the shop without it lol. Luckily it still sounds awesome at home. Only gripe I've found so far is that the boost circuit is included when you switch the DI out between pre/post EQ, but I can live with that. Thanks again people... off to list a Shuttle for sale. Scott
The GK MBFusion is the same size as the MB500
 7. Just search for Musicman Factory Tour on youTube - i just watched it there

 9.
what's that on the right hand side of the picture?? Might be better...
That bass has superlight strings on it - it'll sound funny. Oops i was looking at the one on the left.

 11. Seems rather an exclusive one - not much info online about these cabs re power handling/freq response/sensitivity. Anyone know anything?

 16. Pm'ed and interested!
 17.
I love my NS2000, I imagine the Euro LX's would be fantastic. If I ever decide to move my Warwick Streamer on then a Euro LX will be replacing it. The tonepump controls on my NS2000 are notched in the middle.
The NS2000 has an EMG BT preamp - not a Tonepump. Tonepump isnt notched.
 18.
I have just bought one new , the TW model ,emerald quilt maple , beautiful , beautiful guitar , I love it to bits and can't put it down . The knobs don't have detents but have a ridge on top so you can easily tell where they are , the range of tone is incredible, the depth and solidity gives you so much confidence , plays like a dream , the sustain is just forever , it pumps out quite a hot signal . I will get round to personalising the set up slightly , but out of the box its a winner . I always played with a pick , but for some reason I feel a lot more confident finger style with this beauty, I am not sure why , I do still use a pick but I don't feel I have to , odd. I have had GAS for the Emerald colour for years , and the gig money of the previous year just about covered enough to let me order it. I am a very happy bunny
Nice one lurksalot! Weird, but i know exactly what you mean about the pick/fingers thing. I had the same experience with mine - i think its something to do with the way it sits against you with the carved top and back. Just feels really natural to use fingers.
