Gore Tex one???

Wetsuits are not made of Gore Tex!

I was ready to pull the trigger on one of these a few months ago. Great rock sound as above and a bit thicker sounding than a std jazz. Neck was nice too. Until i tried a Yamaha BB424X next to one and the Yammy blew its socks off! Slightly thicker neck but sound was WAY more up my street for a rock band. Give one a go if you can.

Had a Spector Performer DLX and it was a great sounding budget bass. Had EMG SSD pickups wich i thought were nice and punchy and the neck was nice. Only sold it because i bought a couple of more expensive Spectors but it got me started with the brand.

The metal bit is fine - it was the Comfort Strapps that had the issues i believe.

Subscribed Was in a band with 2 girly singers last year - one had a great belt it out voice and the other was a bit more refined. We found stuff written for female singers worked a lot quicker and easier than songs written for fellas. The pitching is way different. Theres plenty of stuff around though - think Blondie, Pink, Tina Turner, Adele, Katy Perry, Motown, Kim Wilde, Spice Girls, Girls Aloud, Beyonce, Abba, Sheryl Crow, Fleetwood Mac Also Pm'ed

Now you come to mention it i believe youre right. I always used to have an idle rummage on the old style classys - now i cant be ####rsed to look through them. Its all a bit too specific and definitely a step backwards imho.

No brainer - that Zoom B9 from GAK or DV247!!!! Had one a few weeks now and for £100 theres nothing coming close.

99 quid at DV247 now too! Bargaintastic

Korg PitchBlack Poly works fine on bass. Great tuner.

You can get a 2nd hand EBS Multi Comp for about that price usually. They pop up here fairly regularly. Have a look at Ovnilabs website for some reviews and info too.
