  1. She's had ear problems in both ears since puppyhood unfortunately. Antibiotics every few months for one or the other. But this time its got really bad and she needs to be put out while they get in there to try and clean it up (possibly twice) so its going to be expensive. And we think the insurance wont cough up for this one.
  2. Great! That solves my vet bill issue :-)
  3. For Sale SOLD! Bergantino CN212 neo bass cab in excellent condition 700w 4 ohm Front ported Weighs just 46lbs Berg cover included Bought this from @Dood just a couple of weeks ago but due to a potentially hefty vet bill for Pongo on the horizon i need to move it on to free some cash up 😞 I'm gutted as i've gigged it a few times and it sounds fabulous and is a doddle to shift around due to the narrow design and light weight - no skinned knuckles or backache with this baby! Collection from near Bishops Stortford (Essex/Herts border) or I'm happy to meet/deliver within reason by arrangement (Herts/Essex/London/Kent/Suffolk areas I guess) Pictures below - you're welcome to take the dog instead if you think you can afford the vets bill to get her ear fixed.....(Hmmnnn - that's a plan as I could keep the cab then...)
  4. Even at the full money that's a pretty good price including an ok amp
  5. The Gallery, Wunjos and if you go to the Gallery you may as well pop into Guitar Guitar on Camden as its a 10 minute walk away.
  6. Comes with an amp as well.......double bargain........
  7. We use one at every gig. Drummer bought it about 2 years ago because our frontman has a loud stage monitor and it usually points straight at the drums. We initially thought we would only use it at the noisier gigs but we use it all the time now as we've found it tightens up the sound a lot - it takes the edge off a bloody loud kit and he's a bit of a hard hitter so it makes us more pub friendly. It's an interesting conversation piece for the crowd too - we usually get a few asking about it at the gigs. And if it gets a bit rowdy we can all pile in behind it.... The only downside is that it weighs a ton!
  8. Snagged a Berg cab off Dan today. Top bloke, easy to deal with, knowledgeable and great tea! Cheers buddy!
  9. I thought it only polite to wait until Dood had finished typing before I nabbed it 😂
  10. https://www.zoom-na.com/products/effects-preamps/multistomp/zoom-ms-60b-multistomp-bass-pedal The English manual is at the end.....
  11. Is it an Ohm Tramp like this one? i had an Ohm GA140 combo in the late 80's and it was a great little amp.
  12. 2 or 4 for me..... Both sounded a tiny bit fatter in the low mids maybe? I'm curious to know what they are though. I'm guessing number 3 may be a BDI21 🤔
  13. Dave Eilish????
  14. Yup (although pickups from a 1024 or 2024 would probably fit if you could find some) and Yup
  15. I may be wrong but i think they're a weird size/shape and you can't easily drop in replacements. But why would you want to change them?
  16. Andertons have a 2 week returns window......
  17. I have a Magellan 800 and love it. Big fat warm and bloody loud (the amp, not me!). It actually sounds pretty thick and valvey to me at gig levels. The switchable contour is useful. Feels really well made - nice metal casing and knobs and it has some weight to it which is nice. Useful having the aux in/headphone out sockets too. I think the 350 is pretty much the same thing with a bit less output and no drive channel. I would cheerfully recommend one :-) There's a very good thread here about them....
  18. Never mind this Corona thingy - Basschat Virus is worse, symptoms are forever flipping gear! No known cure..... All good here thanks :-)
  19. Cheers Mark, yes, bought it, gigged it a few times and its not for me :-) Hows your new house? And the EBS?
  20. Replied - still available
  21. For Sale SOLD Mesa Subway D800 amplifier £550 Bought from this very forum a few weeks ago as an itch scratching exercise. I've scratched the itch and decided to move it on. (I've already got a few amps so it was a bit of a luxury and i'm just looking to get back what i paid for it) Mint condition, no issues or marks, case and manual included. 800watts in a lightweight package Switchable 2 or 4 ohms Headphone out/line in sockets Variable shape filter, easy to use 4 band eq, deep switch (if you need to release anyones bowels at a gig), good DI Ideally collection from Herts/Essex border. I could deliver locally, happy to drive a bit for a few quid petrol if it suits (Essex/Herts/Suffolk/London/Kent) I can post at your risk and cost - i have decent packing for it - although i would prefer a face to face sale. Not really looking for trades but i'm a bit of a sucker so you're welcome to PM me with anything interesting :-) Def no basses, maybe an amp with 'heft/slam' or cabs i can lift with a bit of oomph about them (posh Berg/Vander/Genz 4x10, 2x12, 15/6 sort of stuff) Thanks for looking
