    FOR SALE SOLD Rules have been invoked - one in one out - so i have to move an amp on :-) EBS TD650 650 watt bass head in a 3u Gator rack bag (not the ABS case in the pictures) This is a really versatile head - you can do anything from loud rock to razor sharp slappy stuff with it. Oodles of sonic heft combined with clarity. It's the higher powered cousin of the classic EBS HD350 with an added valve section. Serviced at Essex Amp Repairs late 2018 and a new preamp valve fitted. Hardly used since then - maybe about 15 gigs and a bit of home use. Its a really nice and quite rare amp (although Bass direct currently have one for £650) and in good condition. Drop me a PM if you need any more info :-) Collect/demo from near Stansted Airport. Could probably deliver to Herts/Essex/London/Kent/Suffolk by arrangement. OK to drive a bit for a meet up too. No couriers though, sorry..... Here's a video demo of the features and functions of the later model TD660. They're very similar sonically so you'll get an idea of the sounds available but i think TD650 has a bit more warmth available and feels like it goes a bit deeper. And heres my one.....

    I think I just fell off the wagon..... I’ve got 14 days approval to decide whether to keep a new amp. I sold a couple of basses recently so I’ve had some money in the toy fund. It arrived yesterday and I played it thru the headphones all evening - I think it’s a keeper though. If there’s any such thing of course😊 I’ll try it thru the speaker tonight and at a gig tomorrow night so I’ll know by the weekend.

    There are at least 3 JB 2's hanging on the wall in PMT Romford.....and they'll order in from other branches for you to try. They have a branch near Old St too, you could tube it to there.     It was in GigGear in Harlow. At least a year ago though, maybe even 18 months. It was an amp and matching 15" cab that they had pxed in and I think it was up for just under £600 the lot. I asked how much for the amp but they didn't want to sell it without the cab and I didn't want a cab so the convo ended there.

    The local shop had one of those in there last year and i had a 10min bash on it - i really liked it! Nice to try something a bit unusual and it sounded great.

    Local pub about 20 mins away that we do about 3 or 4 times a year. Great landlord, ticket only, lovely punters, food and bar tab for the band. We couldn't have asked for a better one apart from the singist struggling to get his voice back after the local virus had clobbered him a few days back. Ooh and it was the first time out for my new 4 string G&L L2000 - i enjoyed playing it on the night and having had a listen to the video through headphones i'm really happy with my sound. Loads of positive feedback from everyone so we're all smiling rabbits today apart from the singer who has 2 days to get rid of his Barry White voice before the next one :-)

    I'm in.... Just grabbed a 4 string L2000 a few weeks back so that's my new toy sorted just before we hit the start line - I reckon I can last a year without something else catching my eye. Although I have a festering thought about trying some different cabs floating around in my head.... Do I get extra points for finishing 2020 with less gear than I started with? Like if I sell another bass? 😊

    What exactly do you want to do? Just silent practice using phones or running through the amp and into headphones? Is it just so you can hear yourself practice or do you need a more accurate sound? Do you specifically want to use the amp? Do you want to record anything whilst you're playing through the phones?

    NOW SOLD Trying to thin the herd again....... Sandberg PM4 in Matte Blackburst fitted with a Hipshot Detuner. Good used condition with no issues other than a broken scratchplate screw and some light player wear. Slight buckleworm on the rear. It's an older one and I believe it was a custom order originally. I've had it about 5 years and it was a few years old when I got it. Matched headstock and block inlays, Glockenlang preamp and Sandberg pickups. Active or passive switching with a passive tone control. Lovely Jazz profile neck with some flame and I think its a Pau Ferro board as it looks a bit lighter than rosewood. Nicely set up with brand new strings too. Comes with a gig bag. Collection/demo near Stansted Airport or I can possibly deliver to Herts/Essex/Kent/Suffolk/NE London by negotiation.
