One of our favourite venues and a cracking night! Filmed from a GoPro stuck on my headstock but it catches the atmosphere nicely Have a look from about 2.00 mins in

For Sale NOW SOLD SUBJECT TO PAYMENT/COLLECTION Ashdown ABM600RC evo4 rack mount amp head with Gator ABS case I've just splashed out on a new amp so the one in, one out policy has been triggered by Mrs Pup and it has to go. I'm the original owner and the amp is in minty super shiny chrome condition with no issues at all. Don't be put off by the old ABM reputation of being whoompy and pillowy and not much else - this is a whole different beast. It can be tight, zingy and sizzly if required but can also do old school thick and fat with ease. Its bloody loud and has the slam that most class D's seem to miss (in my opinion). The Gator case has a butterfly latch handle missing but it closes and functions perfectly safely and easily. Any demo is welcome, I'm based near Stansted Airport. Face to face sale ideally - i'm courier averse I'm afraid - and i could deliver Herts, Essex, Kent, Surrey, London by arrangement. Images below and theres a little video attached of the actual amp set pretty much flat (in no wool mode ) with a Nate Mendel P Bass, headphones recommended :-) No trades thanks unless it's a Fender Roadworn Precision in sunburst with maple (and via PM of course) Thanks for looking...... http://ashdownmusic.com/products/1/B/2/ABM/141/ABM600RCEVO-IV/

Ah, could be..... Dont worry no rush, i found it eventually by scrolling through the thread for 20 minutes and i have it linked in my profile now. I was just a bit concerned no one could find me as i'm looking to buy something at the moment

Pardon my stupidity but whats the difference between a sticky note and a message?

Thank you, will do. Is there a way to make it the default option when i open a page?

Its not a bug but....... I dont like only having 4 topics per page on the new or unread pages - i seem to be endlessly scrolling down and its too wide also. Being able to see about 20 in a more condensed style is more preferable to me. On the plus side, i managed to get the garage cleared out over the weekend instead of being sat in front of the laptop. So thats good....

Re the cutting out at volume with my Stingray - it never happened with my GK MBFusion or Genz Shuttle class D amps and its never happened with my current non class D amps either using the same bass. Its a regular gig we do and has no power supply issues either. The bass control wasn't cranked (maybe about 60/75%). And tbh it wasn't even at a huge volume - it was just a medium sized pub gig. Maybe i had a duff amp - one of the detent positions didn't have the soft click feel about it on the amp 1 knob either. You simply couldn't feel the bass in your back - it just sounded flat compared with my other amps.

The 2 pickup model will do exactly what the 1 pickup will do but adds in more versatility - don't be scared off by it. It may be even easier to move on at minimal loss as well because they are a bit rarer than a 'normal' Stingray. I think you've made the right call re the Dargie and the 25th Anni as well. I would go with the Ray if it was me (i've had USA Subs, USA Sterlings and 3eq Stingrays as well as my current 2 eq one)

Sorry, i don't know - i didn't buy the footswitch. The amp lasted 1 gig and i sent it back - amongst other things i couldn't actually see the black knobs onstage, it kept cutting out at volume and it lacked any of the 'heft' i was used to from my regular amps. It was fun at home but in reality for live use it was too fiddly. I used my Gallien and Stingray on the next gig and it was like coming home.......

cheers Ped, thats great

According to the blurb, i should be able to see how long i have left on my subscription - can't see anything though? Is it on the things to do list or should it be live now? Ta
TGI Extreme are exceptional for the money.
I can recommend the Gator G-PG bags - I have both this one and the dual. If you're interested in them then it's worth keeping an eye on Amazon's prices. The dual bag seems to come down to about £135 when Amazon have it in stock themselves, and I bought the single one linked above a bit earlier in the year for £102, though I've not kept an eye on the price since.
I've got this one and can absolutely recommend it. Its a bit under the radar compared to the usual Mono and Fusion ones but incredibly well made with great protection. (And i picked it up for £50 from Amazon as a warehouse clearance item - i should have had a stripey t shirt and a mask on........)

Ive just had exactly the same experience with a couple of cheap Chord branded speakons - i started a thread on here a week or so ago. Failed to work with cabs unless you rotate them back 5mm from the lock position and find a sweet spot. I think theres a bunch of dodgy speakon plugs coming out of China at the moment. The shop i got them from via Amazon was good initially and just sent out a second pair which they had tested instore but they dont work on my cabs. My genuine neutral ones work perfectly on everything. I requested a refund and wanted to send everything back but the shop has just blanked me now.....
