NOW SOLD SUBJECT TO PAYMENT £450 Bergantino HD210 400 watt 8ohm cabinet Excellent condition with Berg cover included I've been doing a bit of cab experimenting recently and scratching a Berg itch and picked this up a few weeks ago from Basschat. Its an easily transportable (50lbs but a great size/shape to carry with good handles) ceramic speakered beauty. Gigged it for the first time last night and decided that i don't really need it and it was a bit of a luxury so its back up for sale at what i paid for it a couple of weeks back. Collection from near Harlow/BIshops Stortford/Stansted Airport. Could possibly deliver to nearby areas as well as Kent and bits of London as i work around that way too. Sorry, I'm not posting it. Possible trade for maybe a light decent 2x12 4ohm cab or a Genzler Magellan head - PM me anything interesting..... Heres a bit of official blurb and some piccies below - thanks for looking Bergantino HD210 specifications:

•2 x 10" woofers with 56oz magnets with and vented pole pieces
•high intelligibility 1" tweeter
•custom phase - coherent crossover with tweeter level control
•Precision tuned 100% Baltic Birch cabinet
•power handling - 400 watts rms
•sensitivity: 98db • 1 watt/1 meter
•2 x 1/4" and 2 x neutrik connectors
•impedance: 8 ohms
•frequency response: 44hz-15khz
 •dimensions: 22" W x 18" H x 12" D
56cm x 46cm x 30.5cm
Bergantino HD210 by Jon Ashbee, on Flickr Bergantino HD210 by Jon Ashbee, on Flickr Bergantino HD210 by Jon Ashbee, on Flickr Bergantino HD210 by Jon Ashbee, on Flickr Bergantino HD210 by Jon Ashbee, on Flickr Bergantino HD210 by Jon Ashbee, on Flickr
Works for me. Direct pictures in the forum won't work any more, but links to their site will still work without extortion.
thats weird - i just checked back and they are working. Def wasn't 10 mins ago - it came up with the upgrade your account message instead of the pics. hey ho, all sorted anyway update - and now its saying upgrade your account when you click on a picture in the gallery......

[s]For Sale[/s] NOW SOLD THANKS Seymour Duncan Doubleback Compressor. £60 collected or add £5 for recorded next day delivery. Great compressor pedal with true bypass and a useful blend control (the clean blend control adds the raw tone back into your sound that most compressors seem to lose. It also has a couple of eq boost settings - highs, mids and full range that are very useful. Dead easy to use too...... I liked it so much i treated myself to a SD Studio Bass compressor so this is sat in the spares drawer. Excellent condition including box and instructions. Velcro underneath. I am the same with Elixirs - every now and again i have another go at them because i usually change strings after about 4 gigs (when the zing begins to fade) and i keep thinking i can save some money in the long run. And every time i take them off after a few days because they sound like 5 gig old strings from new........ The only strings that really seemed to last noticeably longer were Daddario NYXL's. I was surprised to find that i really liked them and actually got about 8 gigs out of a set. They sounded like 2 gig old strings and pretty much stayed like that. And i second the Super Bright recommendations - they're my 'go to' string now
Leads are the same as I always use. Just tried a battery and there is no difference. The noise tends to be stronger when the NM2 is put on the floor as apposed to the arm of the sofa?!? If it is a dodgy unit and a Earth problem is there a DIY solution?
If its a new unit don't mess about with it because you'll void any warranty. Just return it
-
Sounds like an earth issue Have you actually changed the lead and tried it on batteries? Or you may just have a duffer - try it plugged into any other amp you can find or trot back to the shop
-
Zoom B1on for the win..... Phones out, aux in and about a zillion amps and effects to fool around with
-
Its not sorted - i was getting it today on a Windows 10 laptop in Chrome.

never mind that old malarkey - what does the rig sound like?????? I nearly went for it........:-) -
Vanderkley are better than Barefaced cabs, right?!
Mudpup replied to Al Krow's topic in Amps and Cabs
If you're thinking of going down an amp/cab solution rather than a combo and letting your mates stand on it i reckon the build quality of the cab is the least of your worries....unless you bolt the amp on the top of it of course -

Mudpup replied to Al Krow's topic in Amps and Cabs
The Berg equivalent isn't the HD212 - that has ceramic speakers which are much heavier. The others are Neo's and thats where a large part of the weight in the cab is. The Berg HDN212 is the Neo equivalent and weighs 48lbs. Its also made of lighter weight ply than the HD series which is Baltic birch. -
I've got one of these - i reckon its a bit optimistic but they are truly fantastic basses
-
That looks like good value - good spot!
