1. Unfortunately, Mrs Pup is wise to that one! And I value my testicles.
2. Cheers Mr Bird, they are indeed I have 3 basses and 5 cases so something has to change (and i am not allowed more basses to fill them up with)

4.
There attitude was not rude it was just that I felt brushed off and to me it felt like they did not care they basically say sorry you are not happy please send your strings back to the retailer as you bought from there but it does not answer anything I asked them in my email so I do feel very brushed off
They weren't rude. They offered you a perfectly reasonable and standard solution that would apply pretty much to anything you bought anywhere. Maybe a bit of subtlety got lost in the translation of the communication - remember, it will be a German replying in his second language. Thomann would probably just say they'll send another set anyway if you had followed the standard procedure and contacted them. Its not really worth their while to be shipping £15 items (which cost them about £5) backwards and forwards. You cant be bothered to stick them in an envelope and pop to the post office. And now you're slagging Warwick off on a public forum. Quite disappointing really. I'm out of here.......
5. I had a dodgy Elixir E string last year from a set off ebay. Contacted them via email and a new set of strings arrived a week later gratis. Very impressed with the whole experience. However, i do think your first port of call is Thomann. They should refund the return postage cost if they agree its a warranty issue. You dont need the packaging.
6. I had a Cube 20XL a few years ago and you would get away with it. But only just. The amp modelling made a significant difference too.
7. Theres an SR3000 just popped up on here tonight - that would be worth a look. Ps its not mine
8. I was in there a few months ago and he had a guy working with him that put me right off too. There was a nice Spector custom US bolt on commission sale in there (its been on here too) and i was sniffing about for something new. After i expressed some interest in trying it alongside a couple of other basses, the village in there said it 'was only any good for thrash metal mate, i wouldnt bother'. I wasnt asking for his opinion, just to compare with a few others i had already tried. I spent my £1500 elsewhere a few days later. I was wondering if they were trying to deflect a commision sale into a full retail sale and considered contacting the owner on here to let him know what a crap job they were doing of selling his bass but it sold a short while after so i didnt bother.
9. I like it regardless
10. I am confused Is it crap or not?
11. Oh all right then Its crap
12. Hiscox Liteflite bass case for sale Condition 8/10 The little pocket flap bit inside is unstuck - still works fine but cosmetically needs a bit of glue if you could be bothered (i couldnt) and the fittings are beginning to dull a little. All perfectly serviceable though. Doesnt include chunk of wood and metal in the piccy. May p/ex for decent gig bag or a Sansamp thingy Collection only from Stansted Airport/Harlow/Bishops Stortford area £50
13. I wish it was me........ And i agree about the slapping too - no need for it (as is usually the case) and spoils the first part but i like the feel of the earlier section
14. Tasteful and right in the pocket bit of Get Lucky grooving http://youtu.be/lRdRSNQdWMM
15. Pmed
16. Don't think a Streamliner will do the upper mid twangy thing too well. Try a Gallien MB Fusion
17.
The volume is a bit strange on the LH500, possibly made all the stranger by the lack of "gain" control. Between 0 and about 5 it has a nice, linear increase, giving plenty of control for low-volume work. Then, suddenly, between 5 and 6 the volume seems to increase exponentially! Not a problem for home use as you will be nowhere near 5 (even with an 8 ohm cab)... but be very careful if you are rehearsing at "proper" volume or playing a gig. A seemingly small tweak on the volume control can give a massive increase in output!!
And flattish response is with the mid right up with bass and treble on about 2. It'll seem quiet if you do the "everything at midday" thing - the mids give it the poke. Theres an LH1000 on the classifieds at the moment - you can always turn it down. You dont need to cook the valves to get the sound going.
