5. Heres a link http://www.spectorguitars.com/models/brooklyn.html Its at the bottom and they only made 107 by the look of things. One for a SpectorCollector i reckon. Theres a big Spector community on Talkbass over the pond. Do a search on there for info.
6. Its junk mate I'll take it off your hands ;-)
7. Had a PA cab go over and a flying punter tipped a whole pint into the guitaists Engl pedalboard a couple of weeks ago. Riot of a pub gig with people flying everywhere and we were floor level. Luckily had 2 mates to stand in front of us to fend them off a bit but it was an interesting evening. Bought a hard case for the spare bass last week though just in case. Wasnt a shithole - just a fun crowd enjoying themselves. Got a real buzz from it (luckily the guitarist didnt :-))
8.
Also, do you have your cabs raised up at all? On a chair/stand etc?
Nope
9. Gallien Krueger MB Fusion or Hartke LH500 heads Barefaced Big One cab Occasionally add a second cab (GK 212MBE until my second Barefaced turns up) but very rarely need to as its plenty loud enuff. Playing pubs and medium sized clubs mainly in a noisy rock covers band with 2 geetards.

17. Going away for a few days and back on Sunday type bump
18. Glenn Hughes Eddie Jackson Stuart Zender Sting (Police era) John Taylor John Giblin Mike Inez Doug Pinnick Nick Beggs Cass Lewis Looking back thru my list, the common theme seems to be that most have a very recognisible and distinctive sound. Pretty varied bunch though.
19.
Maybe it's some kind of "Transition" model. Might be worth emailing Spector, their customer services are pretty good by all accounts.
Yep email PJ Rubal at Spector - he's really helpful Here's his address below "][email protected]
20. Hartke LH500 Cheap, simple and good. You can pick them up for 350 new and 180 2nd hand if you hunt about.
21. Played at The Crown in Egham last night. It was a monster night - absolutely rammed with the local loons looking to party! It started getting hairy halfway thru the 1st set and the second set was a blur of moshing, pogoing, bodies flying everywhere, pole dancing girls, beer showers on said girls, toppling PA stacks, blokes falling face first into singer and tipping a pint into his pedal board (nothin blew up, phew!), two mates stood in front of band to keep us playing at great personal risk and it was probably one of the most memorable gigs i have ever played. Still a bit shell shocked in a good way too
22. This does it for me - completely unusable in most scenarios but an absolute monster for these guys. Its a link to the whole gig but just listen to the 1st 2 songs for an idea (best thru headphones) http://youtu.be/ETRSnoga8dA
