1. Yea, that's the idea. If you make sure it's in a convenient place on your board you'll be fine with a bit of practice.
2. All I meant was that if the problem was turning on more than one pedal at a time neatly you could put them in both either in a single loop (if they both need to go on at the same time) or each in a loop of a double loop pedal so you can easily turn one on/one off in an easy stomp. I personally prefer to do it this way and just be quick switching drive pedals off over resorting to noise reduction. Something like this double one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Double-Guitar-Loop-P...=item20b77f5978 Or this single one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Guitar-Loop-Pedal-Tr...c#ht_3084wt_907 Or even a Boss LS-2. There are plenty of fancy ones about though if you wanna spend more.
3. I'd just put the pedals you need to switch on/off quickly in a bypass loop so you can do it neatly in one stomp. Best to avoid gates wherever possible and use them as an absolute last resort I'd say.
4. Yea, Mr Foxen may well want this but he doesn't have internet access until Tuesday.
5. Any idea how old the power amp valves are? Edit: Or what brand they are for that matter.
6. Bargain to be had for someone! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ashdown-Evo-II-300w-...9#ht_500wt_1156
7. The fact it's being talked about on here will surely make it more likely they'll get caught. What with Ashdown and other major amp manufacturers showing up on here time to time, not unlikely.
8. Looks like an Overwater Perception to me.
9. My word! That is fantastic!
10. Amazing amp. Don't see it reaching start price though. Easily worth that IMO but doubt it will sell, If I had the wonga I'd definitely have it as a backup.
11. There's a few that'll do it. Boss LS-2 is prob the cheapest although it's also worth checking out the Barge Concepts VB-JR and the Xotic X-Blender both of which are up for sale in the used effects forum.
12. Line6 price drop to £35 + postage.
13. Yea, I spotted that this afternoon. Watching with close interest.
14. Sorry, not my bag
15. Just spotted that too, a beaut.
16. Long gone I'm afraid. Edited.
17. Awww, don't say that. It's just that the band I used it with are a little quiet at the mo, it'll pick up again. It's a weird sounding thing, probably not what you expect. Bit odd to play as well but loads of character. Still trying to get the dosh together for this Grabber, someone buy my Moog and Line6 Tremolo! Really dumb time for me to be buying anything having been off sick for a month (self employed) but it's such a beautiful thing.
18. Haha, it's a shame it doesn't get used more nowadays to be honest but it's kinda my most 'different' sounding and playing bass so is unlikely to ever go anywhere I'm afraid.
19. Just the Moog and Tremolo left. Can't believe the Moog is still here, gorgeous pedal and bargain price!
20. Cheers, that's interesting. Messdrive sold pending payment.
21. Tremolo and Moog both still available. Will post to Ireland as long as you cover costs. It's a 9V centre positive supply that can't be daisychained. Easy and cheap enough to get a replacement if you wanna do away with the stepdown transformer though. Not sure about the Behringer but would have thought so. It works with both my Alesis F2 and Zoom expression pedal.
22. SVT's only do 2 or 4 ohm yea.
