2. DROOOOOL.
3. SOLD
4. Only bought this last week on here but my SVT is nearly fixed so I won't need it. Good condition apart from a few marks on the bottom. Comes with tin. £90 Pics to come but you all know what these look like.
5. Fair enough, never mind then. I bought the VT last week for £90 which I thought was cheap. Just wanted the difference between that and what you were asking for the 6166. Edit: 6165 rather
6. Don't follow, not interested in swapping your 6166 plus £20 for my VT bass in good nick with tin?
7. Fair do's. VT Bass plus cash from you?
8. Interested in trading the Ernie Ball for a 6166 by any chance?
9. NICE! Go for it! Expect to replace those speakers if you want big volume and low end though.
10. Really cool pedals these. I've ended up with two of them though so am putting one up for sale. It's in ok condition apart from a few scratches and some pen where the last owner marked their settings. Fully working and sounding great Pics to come if required. SOLD
11. SOLD PENDING
12. RIDICULOUS BARGAIN ALERT!
13. It's potentially promised to someone on here I'm afraid chaps. I am really interested in your MSD Earthquaker though Higgie
14. Good price. Sorely tempted.
15. I'd love it if I can arrange collecting it. I'm over in Bristol so not far.
16. Seems like a good deal: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mark-Bass-1x15-Sub-/...a#ht_500wt_1156
17. Just bought this and unfortunately I don't think I researched it properly. It looks like I want it to do about the only thing it can't do: run it as two completely separate halves into different amps. With some clever routing it can very nearly do it, but not quite how I need. (proper pics to come if I decide to definitely sell) If you're looking at this you probably know what it is but if not, have a look here: http://www.thegigrig.com/acatalog/TheGigRi...DI-8_Black.html I first came across these when my band did a tour supporting Porcupine Tree last year. The bassist had one and both guitarists had the bigger brother, the Pro-14. They raved and raved about how fantastic they were. Since, I have seen them on the pedalboards of various large touring bands and they all swear by them. It really is an unbelievably powerful and versatile unit and am gutted to have to part with it, I'm going to have to get something custom built instead. So, it's up for sale unless the guys at Gigrig can think of a way to re-programme it to suit my needs (I'm in discussion with them via email now). It comes with the Generator power supply (5A!) which can power tonnes of effects as well as the manual. It's in mint condition. These go for £579 new and they have a waiting list. I'm after £350 posted. SOLD
18. Cool, thanks for coming Bartelby! Really appreciate the video, thanks for filming it and putting it up. I'm about to overhaul the board and rig (when I get me SVT and V4 back from repair and hook up my new Gigrig Midi-8) which is why you likely haven't seen it before. Yea, the playing style is a necessity as I have weird wonky arms which can't turn palm up. It's called Radio-Ulnar Synistosis and is where the Radius and the Ulnar (the two bones in the fore-arm) are fused together, in my case from birth. I'll be sure to update my porn thread soon. Thank you dave.c too! Pleased you like the record.
19. No, you can't save loops on the Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai I'm afraid.
20.
I have an SWR SM900 that I would like to sell, it still has the box and has not been used much. Any offers? Or I would swap it for a Markbass AC601 combo (a bit of a long shot I know?)
Hi Geoff, welcome to Basschat. We've met a couple of times before, I'm the sound engineer at Jazz @ Future Inns in Bristol. Hope you're well. I can vouch that anyone interested in this amp is dealing with a good chap and a fantastic player too. Doesn't look like it's short of interest anyway!
21. Bump for tomorrows gig!
22.
A day in my Dad's workshop and I have a straightish bridge (shame about the woodwork it goes on being curved), and a brass pickup surround and truss cover. Not sure which I'll be keeping on it. Pics to come.
Sounds interesting, I'll put the camera on charge then
23. Cheers chap!
24. Exciting update! Finally got it together to get this up to John Wood in Nottingham for a service and transformer rewind. He reckons it'll be done in a week, can't wait to fire it up! He says it's otherwise in good nick.
