  1. Cool, thanks, think I've sourced one from somewhere else now though. Any chance you could do me a big favour please and measure the distance between the two screws? My pickup/bass isn't an EB-3 and I'm worried it's not gonna fit but has a similar bridge currently fitted which is rubbish but similarly has two screws in roughly the same place.
  2. Ah ok. Were there any other alternatives you looked at? Anything else similar worth considering do you think?
  3. Really interested in one of these. Did you get yours from Bass Parts Resource or is there a UK dealer?
  4. Another bump.
  5. Yup, and going by the item location, think it's probably the same chap.
  6. The seller is 'hookys6stringbass'. Don't we have a member of that name?
  7. Shockwave should get it for his goth band. Looks lush. Maybe needs a black scratchplate though.
  8. Phwoar, would really like one of those! Did you get it from Hotrox? I would also really like to hear soundclips if you get the chance!
  9. You'll be lucky to find a used DB212 as they haven't been around too long.
  10. For me it'd be either two DB680's, two DB728's and two DB412's or one Sunn 300t, one 70's SVT and two DB412's.
  11. If I hadn't just spent £400 on that Gordon Smith I'd be all over that black one.
  12. Until you said lightweight I was gonna suggest the Mesa/Boogie one. It moves mountains. Pretty intrigued by the Zoot ones myself, let us know how it is if you get to try one.
  13. Looks like a bit of a steal I reckon. Has apparently had some repairs done to the neck which he doesn't go into much detail about though. Seller only has 6 feedbacks but if you can collect it might be a right bargain. One for the gigging bassist rather than the collector I reckon. Item 320286711516
  14. Only GS10's? Why not get two DB810's or DG412's? Isn't this an imaginary and impractical dream rig or is it strictly sensible and boring?
  15. Can't wait to get hold of it. Heres a pic the seller sent me:
  16. Another vote for plain black.
  17. Hehe, well I persuaded my Dad to lend me the dough until next month when i can afford it so thankfully none of my beloved collection has to go. Really chuffed, can't wait to get hold of it. Got it for £380, bargain I reckon. The Joodee will never ever go anywhere, it was my first ever bass and I still love it to bits.
  18. Just made an offer on the Gordon Smith. Means I'll have to sell one of my beloved basses but I reckon I'll get more use out of the Gordon Smith... Hopefully.
  19. I'm extremely tempted to put an offer in on that Gordon Smith. Should I be wary of this seller at all? People don't seem to speak very favorably of him on here. I'm not that bothered that he's marked it up really as it's still a good price for a bass of this quality and shape. And I've desperately wanted an all black Rick shaped thing with a neck humbucker for ages and have heard really good things about Gordon Smith.
  20. Cool, great first rig and a bit of a bargain too.
  21. I absolutely love that. Really, really nice. Just trying to think what I can sell quickly....
  22. Friend of mine was really interested in this. Did you speak to him? His name is Ben.
  23. Something a little bit different: 1979 Musicman Sabre [attachment=12179:15082008581.jpg] [attachment=12180:15082008587.jpg]
  24. Yea, i'm interested in that one on Ebay too. Have always been intrigued by them, they look awesome. They are indeed mega heavy though. Theres one in Rikaxxe in Bristol but he wants loads for it I think.
  25. Interested in a p/x? My vintage Proco Rat 2 + cash for your Bass Sweet?
