1. If you do a search, theres loads and loads of past topics on this. I like my old DOD Octoplus.
2. Cool no worries, having thought about it I don't think I can afford it anyway.
3. Any interest in my Sunn 1200s as trade bait?
4. I've got one like that I got locally and its fantastic. Really solid, very light and has shoulder straps too so is really easy to get around. Or you can zip them away and use the handle like a normal hard case. Mine was £35 from Rikaxxe in Bristol.
5. Theres another identical thread just four threads down.
6. Looks good. Whats changed inside? Planning on rehousing mine in a smaller case, adding a 9v in, and possibly modding it with something from here: http://www.student.ru.nl/r.kerkhof/Taas/Mods/Big%20Muff.htm
7. Cool, when do we get to see? About to pimp mine too.

9. Wow, sage advice indeed...
10. Year later bump, Nash is selling his 300t again.
11. Thought not, will see what I can do then. Really really really want a 300t. Badly.
12. Oh no not again. Don't suppose you're interested in a p/x for my 1200s? Think I asked you last time actually...
13.
I've not seen him use an 8X10. I know he uses 2 ABM 4X10's and two (?)1X18's. He certainly is on the 'Rattus at the Roundhouse' DVD, recorded in November 07. Woolly it is not.
Ah so he is mixing drivers! The plot thickens.
14. Yea, think they look great value for proper flightcased boards.
15. Yes please!
16. That really is creepy. 'Her name is Toby.' - Amazing.
17.
I got sick of wating for my sunn to be repaired. (STILL waiting!!). So I went and got a Marshall VBA in the mean time. Sounds lovely. Im wanting to get a double rig going mind. a second one with either 15's or 12's.... Best bit on that pic though, is the 3 year old pair of trainers on the top....
Looking good man. Good choice of mics too, love those Beyers on bass cabs. You should totally get a second rig on the go, don;t think i could ever go back to one now. Shame about your Sunn, never had any problems with mine whatsoever. Hope you get it back soon. Have you still got that Marshall DBS412? You could use that with the VBA and the Sunn with the Matamps couldn't you? That would be awesome.
18.
Then I had to carry my whole rig home by foot (1x15", 4x10, Firebass head).
All the way next door! Gosh, you poor thing.
19. Don't think Bose bass bins are active. How are you connecting the desk to the two power amps? Does either amp have a 'thru' or' high pass' output? When you say 'DI' are you just referring to an XLR connector?
20. Looks like hotroxuk.com has them.
21. Yea, had a brief look at the EB forum a while ago and have never been back. Custom pickup from Wizard sounds like a plan.
22. Hi, Was thinking about changing the neck pickup in my Sabre. It is totally stock at the moment and any changes I make I want to be totally reversible and look the same (with the exposed pole pieces etc). I love the sound of the bridge pickup but want something darker for the neck, currently if I solo it and roll all the treble off on the bass I still get a fair bit of top end coming through. I would like a really deep, dark dubby sort of sound. I could eq this in/out with a pedal or the amp but I'd much rather do it with the pickup as some songs require going quickly from a bright section to a dark section and my feet are already tied up at those changeovers. My only concern is that the Sabre pickups aren't the standard 'Ray size so it may be hard to find a suitable replacement. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
23. Look very similar in terms of the layout/control to Acoustic amps of that period.
24. Apparently you're supposed to strip the hardware off and wash it really well with soapy water because it's a non-porous surface and nicotine is water soluble.
25. Soooo wish I could afford this. Just like to say Robbies a great guy to deal with, love the GS412 I got off him.
