Hi Everyone, Just bought a nice used USA Pbass from Thornybank, so keeping strictly to my policy I have to sell a bass :-( (plus I have some car repairs due soon). So up for sale, (reluctantly) is this nice Made in Japan Q serial number (2002-2004) P bass.[list] [*]Nice condition, a few dings and scratches but nothing notable. [*]The neck and fretboard are pretty unmarked. [*]The bass feels nice and light so I suspect it is a basswood body,which was stock on the standard model Japanese P basses of that era. [*]Under the hood it's clean and tidy with good quality CTS pots and a switchcraft jack socket. [*]The previous owner bought this new and changed to black knobs and screws. It also has a genuine white USA scratch plate, which really sets this off. [/list] The bass really plays and sounds good, nice pickups with a healthy output. The instrument has good intonation/set up- no issues there-the strings are fairly recent too. Oh and it comes with a gig bag. So that’s it, any queries, questions etc. give me a shout. Only after a sale on this one, no trades thanks. I’m Bristol based so would prefer collection –Though do have a box so postage could also be arranged at buyers expense. £380 Cheers Neil

Couple of old scratch plates for sale. 1. Early 1980’s MIJ w/b/w 13 hole scratch plate. Someone had painted this with horrible blue paint , I removed all the paint, so the finish is opaque now and not glossy-but ideal for a project etc. £6 Delivered? 2. Recent repro 13 hole tortoiseshell scratch plate, fits my MIJ and MIA P basses fine. [/size] [size=3]There is much justified praise for these basses on the web, the necks are simply sublime.
