Hi, Yes it's a 6 Ohm cab, don't know if they're doing only 4 and 8 Ohms now- I think it's a 2008 model. http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/...ass-Cabinet/C2R The Warwick downloads don't work properly on my computer, but I managed to download the wiring diagram. Cheers For your interest. Neil P.S I would ship to the NE if you pay the courier. -

Hello everyone, FOR SALE: Fender P-bass pickups from 2006 U.S.A made Highway 1 bass. These were removed off my 2006 U.S.A made Highway 1 Fender P-bass from new (I already had a new pickguard and high output pickups as replacements) These were used for a few months so there are some marks but they are essentially new. They work fine, sound good and have an impedance of 11.5K Ohms. According to the literature that come with the bass they are” Standard Vintage Alnico Split Single-Coil Precision Bass Pickup ” Think they are U.S.A stock but could be wrong. Very good condition, no screws or springs, but have the original foams Thinking £30? delivered Cheers Neil

Hello everyone, FOR SALE: Fender P-bass pickups from 1985 Made in Japan (MIJ) bass. These were removed off my 1985 (Made in Japan) Fender P-bass and replaced by some SD ¼ lbs I had spare. They work fine and have an impedance of 10.5K Ohms. They are off a PB57 model P-bass so the ground wire (black) is short where it was soldered to the pickup brass base plate. There is some blue paint on the (hot) white lead from the scratchplate(see other Ad) which was creatively sprayed blue. Condition reflective of age, no screws, springs or foam as I used them. Suggesting £20? delivered Cheers Neil

Hello Everyone, FOR SALE: Realistic ( Tandy/Radio Shack) MPA-30 PA amp 20Watt mains or 12Vdc battery amp. Nice compact amp, two main 1/4" inputs and stereo aux/phono plus tone and master volume. Ideal for a cheap practice amp- pretty loud too-Just hook it up to some speakers. This item is boxed with instructions and good condition. It also has a 12V DC supply lead so you can run it off a battery for portability. Pretty heavy – was thinking £20 Delivered. Cheers Neil

Hello everyone, FOR SALE:Celestion? 10” speaker 8 Ohms (date code T3876 =1985) This was pulled from an old cab, unsure of origin. It has 50W 8Ohms hand written on it, which I possibly believe. Pretty sure its a Celestion has the right style cage plus the “MADE IN ENGLAND” like my other Celestion speakers. The speaker works fine -tried it with an amp (for sale on basschat too) and tatty but GWO, ideal for a replacement or project etc. Thinking £15 delivered Cheers Neil

Hello everyone, FOR SALE:Celestion C10H-100 For Trace Elliot Combos/Cabs This is a 16 Ohm, 10” 100W speaker from a Trace Elliot 2x10“ combo (circa 2000) I have. The speaker works fine ( tried it with an amp for sale on basschat too) and is pretty good condition, ideal for a replacement. It has “Trace Elliot” on the dust cone.Still has the working pull off connectors, one of which I’ve soldered to for testing. Pretty Heavy, so I’ll have to see how much exactly postage is? I was thinking £25 delivered if postage is not too expensive may end up as nearer £30 Cheers Neil

Hello everyone, FOR SALE: Fender scratchplate from 1985 Made in Japan (MIJ) P-bass. Three Ply 13 hole scratch-plate W/B/W. Along with the Pickups this was removed from my 1985 PB57 P bass. The previous owner had sprayed the pick guard blue. I removed this and lightly wet ’n’ dried the surface to clear all the paint away, the scratchplate is now matt and had lost its glossy finish-I did used it for a while (may be some bits of paint in the screw holes).Ideal for a project. £7.00 Delivered

Hello everyone, I'm after a Electro-acoustic bass, never owned one before but need one for some gig's I'm going to be playing. I have a Tanglewood TW-145SC acoustic guitar which I really like so may consider that brand. What do I look out for in a semi acoustic bass? Is it the same stuff as an acoustic guitar? My Tanglewood has a solid spruce top, Grover tuners and a nice Finnish B-Band active EQ system. Any recommendations or experiences are greatly welcomed. Cheers Neil

Hello everyone , I have an 2006 US made Ampeg SVT AV (The CL but in Anniversary Vintage cloth). It has output taps for 4 ohms or 2 ohms. It's Ideally paired up with the 8x10" SVT cab (4 Ohms) or two SVT-410HE /SVT-15E 8 ohm cabs in parallel (4 Ohms) or the unique and bigger SVT-410HLF (4 Ohms) My query is what happens if I run it with a single 8 Ohm cab? I never have the need for a 8x10" or dual cabs (yet!) I guess it's a question of power reduction with an 8 ohms cab, I've never tried it? could it damage the amp? I've seen loads of bassists on Jools Holland for example, using the SVT heads with a single cab (8 Ohm ones I'm pretty sure) and not the SVT 410HLF (it looks unique with angled back and tilt handle) Any experience or advice apprieciated. Cheers Neil

Does anyone know the RRP on say a 200W all tube MATAMP,don't know much about them? Are the bigger powered MATAMP build on demand, I couldn't find them on the website. I'd consider a MATAMP 200W tube amp if they were around the £1K mark. Cheers Neil

Has anyone bought or tried one of Max Webers Handbuilt tube amps ? http://www.weber-amps.de/en/index.html Thier based on the classic HiWatt DR103, DR201 and DR405 with some nice features like the ability to self bias via test points on the back. I contacted Max today , the prices are really good for a Handmade amp. MYWATT200 is EUR 1200.00= 1080.00 GBP MYWATT400 is EUR 1800.00 = 1620.00 GBP The shipping costs to U.K is 45.00 GBP I'm tempted....... Cheers Neil

Up for Sale this old Hughes and Kettner BC 410/2 . Bought this as an extra cabinet for my Trace Elliot 2x10" combo but never needed it, gigged with the cab a few times and It sounds fine nice, tight and punchy. Was probably an expensive cab when new, would have had a H and K logo on the front (see picture -off the internet) -The cab is old and well used condition, but solid and complete. - 4x10" 400W at 8 Ohms with horn. - 18mm plywood cab construction all round. front ported. - x 4 rubber feet, stackable cab, 2 side handles. - 2 x1/4" jack inputs. - Sprayed with green/black hardwearing carpet material. - Removable front grill. - One speaker does has a slight mark (see picture) but the cone is not punctured and does not effect performance. Only £75 (which is effectively what I paid for it), collection/trial from central Bristol Cheers Neil.

Hello Everyone, -I've recently bought a old 80's Tokai Hardpuncher off LoudandClear, so one of my basses has to go to pay for it (my new policy!) I've decided to sell my Squire Vintage Modified Precision bass (really a Tele Bass), for no other reason than I haven't been playing it, and I favour my P basses to be honest. The bass has been upgraded to improve what was essentially a really good solid bass.I won't list the basic specification here as it obtainable from the Squier website. -I bought the bass off a basschatter around 18 months ago. -The machine heads/tuners had been upgraded to nice Schaller's (£50) which do a fantastic job and it also had an original Fender telebass bridge cover fitted (£15) -I instantly loved the way the bass played acoustically but (for my own taste) I couldn't get a good usable tone from the pickups, too muddy (mudbucker syndrome). After considering my options I had the original Fender TEB101 pickup rewound by Andy at Wizard pickups for clarity(something more akin to a standard P bass single coil tone) see receipt (£45) -I also upgraded the pots/capacitor and fully screened all the cavities The bass really plays great, it has a really good action and set up and plays like a much more expensive model.Tonally I find it much more versatile with better defintion, clarity and top end- although Its still a hot pick up (16K Ohms). The modifications really enhance the bass, although keep it (fairly) standard looking. Condition wise -The neck is A1, mint. It has no marks at all you wouldn't even know its been used at all. -The new machine heads having a larger footprint than the originals, cover some of the rear text. -The body is very good condition, no chips or dings, there is light stratching to the laquer both front and rear. -The pickguard has scratching and some small extra holes/marks where an alternative pickup was tried, these a negligible and can only be seen very close up. I'm looking for £175 for the bass which covers my costs. I'm mindful that you can buy these new for £230, but the modifications are really subtle and usable, it will also be a thirdhand bass (although I've never played it outside the house). Supplied with a (non padded) gigbag. Collection/ trial in Central Bristol no delivery as yet, but may consider if I get a box! I'd prefer the buyer to come and play/test the bass to ensure they are happy. Cheers Neil
