  7. Sorry to hear about that .. MF delay is my fav delay I’ve tried & the only pedal I haven’t sold. Can’t really help you but if you plug a stereo trs jack into the expression input it increase the feedback repeats, see if feedback has more effect, also ‘time’ up to 12 o’clock is more slapback / reverb so test past 1 with the ‘mix’ past 11, however I’m guessing you’ve tried this already. Hopefully you’ll get it sorted, it’s a great pedal, I’ve got it linked to a trails looper & added a ‘ramp’ button (Zander Circuitry Little Monster) rather than an expression pedal.
  8. Afraid I don’t have it any longer ..
  9. Contact Jas (Leeds) for valve / ss amp repair & custom designs etc big thumbs up from me http://www.astralsonictech.co.uk/
  10. OP, contact Jas at http://www.astralsonictech.co.uk/ He knows his stuff & could probably build anything you want as he specialises in custom / bespoke amps / gear etc
  11. Done a ‘proper’ video now
  12. swamp ash (extra light), quartersawn slim profile wenge neck, dark rosewood fretboard, Sandberg bridge, Schaller bml tuners, bkp 60’s pe pups in 70’s position (as spotted by Doctor J) .. will most probably stain the body black
  13. Just a volume knob (both single coils in parallel) .. I’ve tried many different types of pickup configurations but almost always come back to both pups & tone on full .. nice & simple
  14. Exactly .. hopefully more growl esp with the wenge neck .. trialing some Bareknuckle 60’s PE pickups
  15. I got a J&D jazz as a backup / pub gig bass last year from DV24/7 (Musicstire de) for £114 (I believe) was really impressed with it .. so much so I upgraded the hardware / pickups & had a fret level as I thought it was worth it ....
  16. Just got this yesterday .. obviously still needs a bit of work lol ... tbc
  17. Let’s hope it sounds as good as it looks

  20. FS - professionally wired (vintage Japanese Fender) bell plate with new CTS pots and a Bare Knuckle oil filled capacitor (no knobs)= £30 posted https://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/shop/product/jensen-bkp-capacitor https://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/shop/product/bkp-custom-audio-taper-280k-cts-standard-shaft-pot
  21. Difficult one trying to recommend a rig for some else .. I tried loads of setups but find it hard to justify having expensive gear when only playing in small venues / pubs etc. Part of my issue is worrying about it getting stolen or trashed so I've gone back to a simple setup : GK 400RB Bagend D12-D J&D jazz bass (modded) Warmoth jazz bass No pedals anymore so 'grit' comes from cranking the amp & 'riding the GK rails' one of the best grind sounds I've heard (my alternative would be using Darkglass B7K or similar), Bagend cab is heavy so no one is going to run away with it lol but I may go lighter (Barefaced) if we gig more, jazz basses just work for me so a cheap modded one is ideal plus a nicer one for home / recording & certain gigs. I was saving for an expensive amp but just couldn't justify it .. In your case 'Stealth' I'd consider either the new Darkglass 500 with a good 4 ohm cab if that's the kind if grit you like or get the quietest (hiss free) amp (I'd go Glockenklang) & find a dirt pedal you like ... hope some of this helps
  22. Just done a deal with George, great comms & payment as promised, deal with confidence
  23. Orange one is Thorpyfx Trex clone
  24. Modded some chrome hardware to black & indeed passive with just a volume knob .. sounds even better passive, however I’ve decided to reinstall the preamp & sell on. As great as this bass is I don’t want to take it to the kind of gigs I do & too good for just home use .. I will stick with passive jazz basses, they just work for me ...
