    I sorta did the same ... Replaced digital with analog : SA Aftershock with DG B7K (have 9v external battery holder) Subdecay Echobox with Moog MF Delay & Bright Onion Trails Looper with 9v mod (tho digital Subdecay does actually have 9v battery option but still draws a fair bit of mA) SA Mercury Flanger with Moog MF Flange Unfortunately my current band doesn't really allow me to utilize mod or delay effects much i.e. they kinda get swallowed up, so I don't see the point of taking (expensive) extra gear esp when were trying to scale down & simplify things so .. Current battery powered board : > Korg Pitchblack Advanced Tuner > Darkglass B7K > Rothwell Love Squeeze > amp Still considering one of these rechargeable lithium-ion psu units & battery as backup.. but which one ? Also, nice thing about Moog / Subdecay / Rothwell pedals is 'if you leave 9v daisy chain lead plugged in like when I use a onespot at home instead of wasting batteries it bypasses the battery so you can leave the jack leads plugged in which is handy if you've set it all up on a pedal board' .. also new Korg tuner I've got not only has great battery life (according to Korg lol) it still allows signal to flow even without a battery !

    - Schaller BML light tuners - Sandberg bridge - Fender single coil pickups (parallel wired to vol pot then jack) Also had bit of fret level. Sounds great Sanded most of the gloss finish off the neck so now have a super smooth satin type feel Gave fret edges a bit of a file too ...

    Withdrawn - have removed preamp & made passive which suits me just fine FS - as new (April '17) Vigier Excess Stealth Matt black 4 string, 8 month wait on this custom order, best neck I've ever played but realize I'm a passive jazz bass man. Won't bore you with all the specs tho here's a rundown (Vigier link) : - 90/10 maple/graphite neck, no truss rod / zero fret (ss frets) - alder body custom matt black finish - single coil Benedetti pickups with hum cancelling 18v preamp - Schaller M4 chrome tuners & bridge (black no longer an option but have had bridge powder coated) - Vigier hard case http://www.vigierguitars.com/page/fiche_produit.php?id_prod=218 Trades - Fender Geddy Lee USA or other passive jazz (maple neck black block, 70's pickup placement) plus cash .. no 5ers pls GK 800RB / GK 400RB / GK Fusion 550 or maybe some tube bass amp (+ probably cash my way) Email for more pics ...     I've 3 used sets strings for 34" headless 5 string .. 45-135 - Status double ball end ss - SOLD Next two are/were normal length but cut down & clamped on headpiece - Elixir nanoweb ss - Daddario I think All three still have life in them esp the Elixir £10 posted for remaining two sets

    I use a Little Lehle II .. not sure if I need to isolate the two incoming signals but thought it can't be a bad thing if I do as I'm getting both inputs from the same source (always on) Darkglass B7K .. switch between clean with effect or dirt.     A few weeks ago I got the same black J&D JB75 & was pleasantly surprised, enough to keep & start modding it. It is also medium weight so not what I'd class a heavy ... so far so good

    Hi all, I'm looking at getting some single coil jazz pickups & ideally want the growliest but not wanting to spend boutique prices if possible. Bass is 4 string alder/maple. I used to have two jazz basses, one with Nordstrand Big Singles & one with Wizard 84's & loved both, however not in my budget Also, I plan on wiring these in parallel (no blend) to single vol pot, so 250 or 500k ?
