  1. Thanks to Kev & Dood for their great feedback Haven't heard of anyone using the M900 with the Two10 as yet ..? Also noticed 'bearfist' selling both his DG M900 & BF BTII .. ? I would have thought that a match made in heaven ?! So any more thoughts etc most welcome as I'm still undecided (and saving lol) cheers Simon
  2. I tried the preamp route .. 3leaf enabler preamp (B3K for grit) into a powered Bagend 212 cab but was a bit disappointed, underwhelmed .. howerever I took out the power amp (minima one) then used a B7K into a GK RB400-IV .. well the cab came alive & just roared ! In a good way for me at least .. I still think it's an option as you can just take a small pedal board or just the preamp & plug into a pa or any amp / combo. The Barefaced one is probably the best choice, it wasn't available when I was on the hunt for a powered cab tho .. not too many out there, at least when I last looked ....

    Deal with confidence guys
  5. Sorted - Bradford band ORCHID reformed & Lee is back !
  6. Thanks all & esp Kev coz I always fancied one of those sealed Bergs, I'm guessing it's loud enough with the M900 on 4 Ohm mode ? I'm not used to cabs producing much low end so a sealed cab might also be worth a look
  7. Hi all, Recently bought a Darkglass M900 and am looking at pairing it with either a BF Super Compact or Two10, anyone using these setups ? Or any other single cab solution ... I play heavy rock / metal on 4 string standard & drop D btw Thanks for any opinions etc as per usual BCers Si

  12. It didn't quite work out for me, mainly the effects loop, I just couldn't get a match in volume when engaged/disengaged, maybe because it was parallel instead of series, I wasn't about to open up & flick a switch of whatever you need to do to change as this was a brand new combo, so sent it back. Also it said 600w on rear of amp, I emailed Markbass but they took a while to reply & id already returned the combo, however they said it's a 'typo' & it does have the updated power amp 300w + 500w. Nice combo overall but didn't blow me away .. back to original plan .. Darkglass M900
  13. Cheers all .. yeah Si I did read that on Darkglass site but if you turn B7K off for 'clean' it most likely won't have enough juice .. I think I'm gonna skip this idea & just get their M900 head, thanks for everyone's input. Si
  14. Thanks Danny. .. I feared as much. It was just an idea. I don't have either at the moment so I can't try out but I remember using a B7K before going straight into my amp (not return back) & noticed the level knob was around noon, any higher then clean (pedal off) volume was lower so I thought what if I blend 100% wet, crank level that might drive a power amp ? For clean I'd have to run parallel out through cranked compressor I have (+20dB) both into A/B looper pedal then switch between the two, like I said it was just an idea .. I'll probably just buy the M900 head & save me the hassle lol. . & maybe the Alpha/Omega
  15. Hi all, As the title says, do any of you use your B7K direct into a pa power amp ? Just wondering if it has enough juice to do this and if so what power amp do you use ? I'm thinking of a possible wet/dry setup having blend maxed & a boost pedal on parallel out, both outputs into a stereo power amp driving two cabs ... sound feasible ? cheers Si
