  1. Guitar distortion pedal now sorted but open to offers etc
  2. Deal with confidence cheers Andy
  3. Has anyone tried either the Source Audio Soundblox2 OFD or Multiwave with guitar ? If so how does it sound ? I'm wanting to get one or the other for bass but can't really afford the guitar version as well so am hoping the bass version is ok for guitar. Opinions most welcome ...
  4. BBE Boosta Grande I'm selling will fit the bill ... shameless bump ... but will do you a good price
  5. Jij ook de beste wensen
  6. Sounds like a good idea to me, guessing most amps will fit the bill but I can't comment on that as I don't have an amp at the mo. Maybe some others can chime in here & recommend a suitable amp to pair with a B3K ....?
  7. I had similar dilemma, B3K + pre or B7K ? I went for B3K + 3Leaf Enabler so I could go from clean (with effects) to grit via A/B loop ... can't do that with B7K alone ... I also have a powered 212 cab so pedalboard to cab but could also go poweramp to any normal cab. I tend not to tweak the sound much so a basic EQ is fine for me .... B3K is the best grit/dirt pedal I've tried for bass tho I haven't tried that many .... the other 'best' growl I've gotten (& it was one of those eye openers) was with a cranked Gallien Kreuger 400RB head (700 worked as well but was too loud lol) Haven't gigged this pedal preamp setup yet but am happy so far ... gonna record it on Friday in a studio so excited to hear the results. I did consider a Tech21 VT DI but would again have same issue with needing separate clean/dirt channels. If you do go the preamp pedal - poweramp route just make sure you have enough signal to drive the amp (input sensitivity etc) My vote is Darkglass !
  8. Or trade for decent OD / distortion pedal (for guitar)
  9. Ah if only ...... nice one mate enjoy you lucky b......., lol
  10. Took these of an old unknown pbass (17mm bushing) tuners look pretty distressed but work fine. If you're after a relic'd look these would look good ... bridge not aged the as bad/good so you might want to 'age' it a little more lol ... anyway £30 posted for both
  11. FS/FT - Yamaha BBN5 (alder body / maple neck / rosewood fb I've re-shaped the headstock & horns and replaced the pickups with a custom set of Wizard 84's & new vol/tone pots including a 5-way pup selector switch (B,series, parallel, series out of phase,N), schaller strap locks (bit of neck dive as tuners are a little heavy but sits horizontal on my slippy strap), powder coated bridge (not the saddles) Sanded down then stained / tru-oiled body & headstock, tru-oil can regularly reapplied btw ... Price doesn't include postage & I'd rather you tried this bass out but sure we can come to some arrangement ... cash / paypal / bank transfer
  12. +1 also glad to hear all's well at Darkglass HQ, guess I got my B3K (from Bassdirect) earlier this year before production went back to Helsinki ... maybe I'll just have to buy another ... still the best dirt pedal I've ever heard / used Thanks for making it Doug !
  13. I use a Traynor Darkhorse 15w / 2w valve head & swap between guitar & bass cabs I built as I also play a bit of guitar too ...
