Hi, just saying hello as a newbie here. I used to play bass (a Gibson short scale copy) in a group when I joined the RAF many moons ago! I have kept a bass in my collection over the years, but not played it much. Now, having just joined the ukulele orchastra of Northallerton (where, you may ask?), I have been taken by the Kala U-bass (a baritone ukulele sized bass with wierd strings but cool sound). I'm now thinking of selling my 1984 Aria Pro SB Elite II... a beautiful sounding (and looking) bass but which is certainly not played in anger - and it should be! It would help finance a u-bass. Anyone out there playing a u-bass? Do you like it? D
