  2. Continual low booming on all notes, I would say HPF. But boomy only on some notes - which ones? For me it was A/Bb on the G string, and a wolf tone eliminator helped e.g. https://musicalsuppliesdirect.co.uk/product/double-bass-wolf-note-eliminator/ It goes on the afterlength and alters or dampens its resonant frequency (or something like that).
  3. Gator GPA-TOTE10 speaker bag, to fit a 10" powered speaker - I had a Yamaha DXR10 in there. https://gatorco.com/shop/speakers/bags-speakers/speaker-tote-bag-10-gpa-tote10/ Outside dimensions (L x W x H): 54.6 x 34.3 x 32.7 cm Inside dimensions (L x W x H): 53.3 x 33 x 31.5 cm Waterproof polyester Dual zip opens up the whole top and one side for easy access. £25 posted.

    Variable HPF

Hmm, the manual also says that its low cut range is 400Hz-6khz, which is very high (both the low and high range). I'm trying to recall my slap setup from many years ago - I had independent eq, but my click didn't really have that much low frequency output to start off with.

    Variable HPF

I don't think that switch is for the low cut. "Switch to select either 4 kHz or 8kHz base frequencies for the TREBLE control" https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1601/8433/files/SH_RB-Pro_owners_manual.pdf?6866837466035804435 You shouldn't need a HPF on the click pickup - is it creating a problem just blending it straight in? Still get the HPF though - to control rumble feedback on your main pickup.
  6. Thanks Ian for our recent transaction and fast payment!
  7. Precision bass pickguard from earlpilanz on eBay. The colour is called "Dark Red Tortoiseshell" £10 posted.
  8. Vintage White basswood body from 2013 Squier Matt Freeman precision bass. Weight 2.152kg (4lb 12oz). When it was recently fully assembled as a complete bass, the weight was 3.975kg (8lb 12oz). Small scratch by the G-string side of the bridge. There are some paint imperfections near the neck pocket. Afraid I don't have the right tool to accurately measure the pocket dimensions, but I've had three Fender and Squier necks in there. Neck plate and original screws included. NB the five bridge holes are slightly wider apart than a standard vintage bridge. £90 including UK postage The original Matt Freeman "HiMass" bridge with brass saddles which fits perfectly in the body. Includes screws. +£15 Pickguard: "Dark Red Tortoiseshell" from earlpilanz. Sorry, I don't have any pickguard screws to include. +£5 Pickguard: brown tort of unknown origin. Drilled for pickup cover and tug bar. +£5 Chrome bridge and pickup covers. These were imported from America due to the HiMass bridge being a slightly different size to a standard Fender bridge. N.B. the photo looks like the pickup cover might have scratches running across its width - those are reflections. Screws included. +£15 I'll throw in a tug bar & screws, if you want that too.
  9. Did you find something in the end? I'm deciding on pickguards myself at the moment - would be nice to find something good, although I don't want to get too carried away and start spending $$$. I have a couple to hand here. The first is "Dark Red Tortoiseshell" from earlpilanz - not sure I love this one - bit too much yellow: The second is "Red Tortoise" from Guitar Anatomy: The third (not red, but for contrast/comparison) is some brown tort of unknown origin.
  10. Zoom MS-60B £50 posted https://zoomcorp.com/en/gb/multi-effects/multistomp-pedals/ms-60b/ Great pedal with amp/cab sims, effects, and tuner. All working fine, but some cosmetic scuffs - see photos. Power supply not included - manual says 9V 500mA but https://stinkfoot.se/archives/829 reckons it only draws 140mA. Or use 2x AA batteries.
  11. Truetone CS6 £80 posted https://truetone.com/cs6/ Low profile, fully isolated power supply. 1600mA of power outputs: 2x 500mA 9V, 2x 200mA 9V or 12V, 2x 100mA 9V or 18V Includes C13 "kettle lead" power cable, three standard connectors, and a current doubler. Working fine, but some cosmetic scuffs - see photos.
  12. Decluttering and discovered I still have this. Best offer takes it, or it's getting chucked out...
  13. Squier Classic Vibe '60s Precision Bass £250 posted (no trades, thanks) Nut Width: 1.685" (42.8 mm) Weight on digital kitchen scales: 3.872kg (8lb 9oz) Full specs are on Fender's website: https://www.fender.com/en-GB/squier-electric-basses/precision-bass/classic-vibe-60s-precision-bass/0374510500.html Some changes from stock: tug bar added holes added for bridge cover (not included) bridge changed (steel, standard 19mm spacing) knobs changed (now dome top; originally were flat top) Recently restrung with Adagio flats. A couple of minor points: Some light scuffing, which is hard to photograph. Really only visible if you angle the body towards a light source and go looking for it. The tuners are stock but there are additional screw holes underneath where alternate tuners were previously installed. Happy to answer any questions or take additional photos.
  14. Still for sale. Couple of clips of the bass in action:
  15. Functional protective ABS case of generic/unknown brand (unless you recognize the tag logo in the penultimate photo?). Some discolouring and scuffs on the outside. All six latches work, but no key. Inside is in good condition, including the 'fur' and accessory compartment flap. Definitely fits Precision bass, and I suspect Jazz and other popular shaped basses - bring your bass along to check the fit for sure. Collection from Bristol.
  16. Had a recent smooth transaction with Paolo and there were no problems at all! Thanks!
  17. Hipshot Licensed Ultralite Bass Tuning Machines, 1/2", Clover, Chrome 4 x bass side (e.g. for a normal Fender inline headstock) I think the screws are starting to strip, so I'll also include a new set of replacement screws. They are not Hipshot branded, but they are the same thread size. £48 posted Hipshot's website: https://hipshotproducts.com/collections/bass-tuning/products/hb6-1-2-ultralite-licensed-bass-tuning-machine?variant=43550939016 Measurements etc: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1574/0577/files/206K.PDF?147414096911308745
  18. This walnut Classic Vibe 70s P bass is from Squier's current line and is a great player with a lovely neck. Specs from https://www.fender.com/en-GB/squier-electric-basses/precision-bass/classic-vibe-70s-precision-bass/0374520592.html: Colour - Walnut Body Material - Nyatoh Neck Material - Maple Neck Shape - "C" Shape Fingerboard Material - Maple Fingerboard Radius - 9.5" (241 mm) Fret Size - Narrow Tall Nut Width - 1.685" (42.8 mm) Weight on my kitchen scales: 3.75kg (8lb 4oz) The pickups and pickguard still have the protective plastic film - I never got round to peeling them off! The original black pickguard will be included as well as the current brown tort one. The strings are Fender 9050 flatwounds, less than six months old. The cavity has been shielded with copper foil. A second 0.047uf cap has been added in parallel to the stock one, which makes it 0.1uf in total. The difference is that it now gets slightly darker than stock when you roll down the tone knob. Very easy to remove if you don't want it - I can do that if you prefer. The tuners are replacements from a Fender Modern Player jazz bass. There have previously been two other types of tuners installed, so there are extra screw holes and a couple of small chips in the back of the headstock - these are hidden from view behind the current tuners. Happy to answer questions or take more photos etc - please just ask. £260 including UK postage. Looking only for a sale - no trades, thanks.
  19. GHS Bass Precision Flats, five-string set M3050-5 Gauges: 45, 65, 85, 105, 126 Cut for a standard 34" Fender-style bass with 4+1 headstock. Good condition: three months old and haven't had much use. https://www.ghsstrings.com/products/11278-bass-precision-flatstm?category_id=1964710-precision-flatstm £28 posted Reduced to £20 posted
  20. Certain it's not the first time I've left feedback for KiOgon - I recently bought another couple of looms, all perfect. Thanks!
  21. £325 collected from Bristol. Sale only - not interested in any trades. I can post within the UK for £20. This is a great Precision bitsa in beautiful vintage white, with (removable) pickup & bridge chrome covers and tug bar completing the old school look. With its flatwounds strings, I've been enjoying playing Motown on it - but a Precision suits most musical styles. Body The body is from a 2013 Fender Squier Matt Freeman Precision. Colour: Vintage White Body Material: Basswood Hardware: Chrome Bridge: 4-Saddle HiMass Bridge with Brass Saddles Misc: Knurled Chrome Dome Control Knobs, Tug Bar. The original electronics developed an intermittent crackle, so they have been removed and a KiOgon loom was installed this week. This has a solderless pickup connection, so it's very easy if you did want to experiment with other pickups. Having said that, the stock pickups sound great to me and I never felt the need to change them. The bridge and pickup covers were imported from America (due to the HiMass bridge being a slightly different size to a standard Fender bridge). The tort pickguard is a replacement; I don't have the the original black one. There is a small scratch by the G-string side of the bridge. There are some paint imperfections near the neck join. The chrome pickup cover has some wear on it - only visible from some angles. Neck The neck is from a 2021 Fender Squier Classic Vibe 60s Precision Bass. Neck Material: Maple Neck Finish: Tinted Gloss Urethane Neck Shape: "C" Shape Scale Length: 34" (86.36 cm) Fingerboard Material: Indian Laurel Fingerboard Radius: 9.5" (241 mm) Fret Size: Narrow Tall Nut Width: 1.685" (42.8 mm) The tuners are the stock ones; however there are alternate screw holes underneath where third-party tuners were previously installed. Misc The neck join is ok but not air-tight (this is cosmetic). Strung with new Adagio flats. Weight on digital kitchen scales: 3.975kg (8lb 12oz) without the chrome covers. Happy to answer any questions so please just ask if you need any more photos or information.
