I messaged Pete on Weds night about a pedal he was selling. He was able to send it out on Thurs morning and it arrived first thing on Fri. Pedal was in perfect condition, as described. Couldn't ask for anything more!

I have Silver Slaps with medium action, and they work well for the musical styles you mention. The low tension makes them quite easy to play (compared to steels).

It's sometimes easier to pick up a 4x10 and put it on a 2x10, rather than the other way around, because: - the 4x10's handles are higher up, so you don't have to bend as far down to pick it up - once picked up, you don't have to lift it as high (because the 2x10 you're placing it on is not that tall). Of course, this might be negated if the 4x10 was significantly heavier than the 2x10. My rig from ages ago was a Hartke 410TP (4x10) on top of a 2.5XL (2x10). In that case, they actually both weighed the same as each other (30kg each!).

I have a Harley Benton PB-20 (i.e. their split-coil P-bass) - originally bought as a back-up, although it's currently my bass of choice (functions/weddings). The rest were close enough. The pickup cut-out was slightly too tight for the pickup to fit through, so I had to widen it a bit with a file.

I have the same setup (PB-20 bass + 9050M flatwounds) and it's great. Highly recommended combination. I indulged in a tort pickguard.

What I mean is: if people are continually getting lost in standards, or can't keep consistent time, they must do some individual practice. It is a waste of time to have a group rehearsal otherwise - particularly for you, if you are the strongest member of the group. They could use tools like iReal Pro (or Band-in-a-Box, Aebersold tapes, etc). Do you guys go to jam sessions (individually)? Playing with unknowns/randoms is a really great way to learn how to truly listen to, react to, and interact with other musicians. What is your set of 15 songs, out of interest?

[/quote] Well... isn't this the same notational error which exists for all transposing instruments? A trumpeter who thinks they are playing "B" is actually playing an A. An alto saxophonist who is playing "their D" is actually playing an F. Etc.

I play upright and electric in quite a loud band. I've not tried either the Fdeck or Thumpinator, but I just started using the hpf in the Zoom MS-60B ("Ac Bs Pre"), and it seems to tighten up the low end. So perhaps that's another option. One advantage of it being digital is that you can have it remember different presets for your different instruments/bands.

What is the context of the question? Perhaps intervals are not the best way to communicate what's going on? I wouldn't use absolute intervals between one note and the next. Instead, I would describe each note using its relation to the root. Let's suppose the third note of your sequence was F#. I would then say "go up to the 2". (F# being the 2nd note of the scale in the key of E.) I wouldn't say "play a perfect fourth above" even though F# is indeed a perfect fourth above C#.

[/quote] I own this pedal, am not expert, but my understanding is: I think there are only one or two stereo effects, which send different signal to each output. But for the vast majority of effects, the same signal is sent to both outputs. So you can generally use it as a Y box, i.e. to duplicate the same signal to two amps. You can't use it as an AB box, i.e. switch between amp A and amp B one at a time.

I don't have a Nano+, but if it helps, I do have a Nano, which is very slightly under 5.5" deep. Width is 14" so a bit less than the Nano+.
