1. Ok, I can send this. Tracked/insured postage included in the price.
2. I don't currently have a suitable box in which to send it; I will try to obtain one.
3. Ok, I didn't realise that they did a 30-day return period; however it has already expired. I bought a double bass in July which came with a normal fixed bridge. Now I've always liked the idea of an adjustable bridge, so I bought this Gewa one at the same time. I asked Thomann if they could fit the adjustable bridge for me, but it was not a service they offered. Since I am not a woodworker by any means, my plan was to take the bass and the adjustable bridge to a local luthier and have it professionally installed. However, I also decided that I had nothing to lose by having a go at filing down the existing fixed bridge myself. I (somehow) ended up doing an ok job. In fact, the action is now pretty sweet, just how I want it. I then thought it best to wait till I'd gigged the bass a few times to make sure I really was happy - and now I have decided that I am. Hence the adjustable bridge remained untouched, and is now for sale here!
4. Zoot were the cabs made by bass maker Mike Walsh before he launched 'Purple Chili'. I have owned this cab from new (bought in 2008, I think). It sounds good and it is very light. It is a 300W 1x12 cab which weighs only 11.6 kg. You can read about it here: http://www.lean-busi...99b1c2dffca3b03 I have always been happy with this cab; reason for sale is that I have decided to switch back to using a combo. Price: £150. I can deliver within 50 miles of London SW19 (evenings/weekends as mutually convenient). Happy to provide more info or answer any questions. 5. I have owned this amp from new (bought in 2003/2004). It has always been flight-cased (case included in sale). The amp's dimensions are: 3.5" x 17" x 8.25" - it takes up two racks spaces. The amp's weight is 15 lbs (6.8 kg). It outputs 150W @ 8 ohms or 240W @ 4 ohms. I have run the amp with a variety of cabs, from a single 1x12 to a pair of 4x10s, and have always been happy with its performance - never had any problems. Reason for sale is that I have decided to switch back to using a combo. The '-10 dB pad' function operates correctly, but the button is missing. Price: £200. I can deliver within 50 miles of London SW19 (evenings/weekends as mutually convenient). Happy to provide more info or answer any questions. 6. I bought this second-hand, about 18 months ago. I have been very happy with it, but have switched to a five-string recently and can't justify keeping both :-( You can switch between active and passive by pulling up the volume pot; also 2 x EQ, 1 x blend, and a mid-cut ('slap') switch. There is a tiny ding (photo below), and also the headstock was knocked slightly (photo below). Price: £200, including a soft case. I can deliver within 50 miles of London SW19 (evenings/weekends as mutually convenient). Happy to provide more info or answer any questions. 7. This bridge is unused. I bought it from Thomann but then changed my mind about installing it. It is this one: http://www.thomann.d...ass_steg_34.htm Price: £60, including tracked/insured postage. Photo of it: http://img834.images...550/bridger.jpg
8. I recently bought a new five-string double bass which came strung with Spirocore Mittels, BEADG. The first thing I did was restring it (with detuned Solos, EADG, and a Mittel high C). I am happy with that setup, so the original Mittels are for sale, barely used. Just the B-string: £25. Set of four, EADG: £75. Set of five, BEADG: £90. Prices include tracked/insured postage.
