  1. His activities are offensive to me and seeing as we're in a era of marmalade sandwichism where anyone can be offended by any little thing, I think I'll be alright with my views on this creator of heinous monstrosities.
  2. Harley Benton know they're in partnership with PCsGC? 😂 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wide-neck-Baritone-6-string-Hb-single-coil-pickups-PcsGC-and-Harley-Benton/193443400300?hash=item2d0a200a6c:g:RTsAAOSw~6BeqceR
  3. F**F****Sake! Typical this! If I hadn't just this morning ordered a Jazz Neck, for a Precision, I'd have had that neck. I have one of these and it's a lovely bass, I just can't get away with that lower offset. Are you sure £140 is your asking price for the full bass? If so, someone is gonna be getting a hell of a lot bass for an unbelievably generous asking price. No need to wish you GLWTS.
  4. British rock at it's finest!
  5. Nice playing, but damn, I was really hoping to see Iron Maiden being slapped about.
  6. I'll pass on that.
  7. That would've been Andy Scott's Sweet, Steve and his wife moved to California around 1986 and he more or less led a reclusive life. IIRC he only ever returned to the UK for the funerals of former band mates Brian Connolly and Mick Tucker.
  8. R.I.P. Steve Priest. He kept it simple, most of the time, but he was no slouch.
  9. I had one of those on one of my Thunderbird's, I changed it for a Babicz FCH3 and I've managed to get the action lower than I could with the Hipshot.
  10. Great band and a tasty player is Mr Stelfox.
  11. Can you recall the make and where you bought the neck? I'm in the hunt for a Jazz neck preferably Rosewood with dot markers. GLWTS.
  12. 75 Black Sabbath - Symptom Of The Universe.
  13. This! Not an effects aficionado meself. Anybody know what the effect is on Mr McCoy's Precision during the Piano solo?
  14. I wondered how long it would be before he got a mention. lol
  15. The owner (seems genuine) didn't know what his store manager was buying into his shop. Obviously there was no serious "don'ts" put in place from the off. As far as I can tell RTM only has one shop, if I was the owner I'd be keeping close tabs on everything that came through the door that wasn't from official outlets. Could anyone envisage this going on at Andertons, GAK or Sweetwater? No, me neither.
  16. R.I.P. Dave, A great down to earth bloke and musician.
  17. Looks like they could well be in a bit of bother.
  18. "Two for the price of one here, ridiculous Bass and player too!"
  19. Everything Lozz has mentioned above, Plus Stinkfist by Tool and Stranger by the Minute by Porcupine Tree! Oh and this!
  20. My first was a sunburst short scale Fender Mustang style thing by a company named Lynx. (tried to find a pic online, but no luck) it had a single classic chrome coated pickup and an action you could drive a bus under, any way I dropped it one day and two of the machine heads broke. It was then replaced by a Hondo II Precision (Fender head stock) from me mam's Grattan Catalogue. which had some extensive work done on it by then semi legendary luthier (creator of the flintlock Guitar) Jim Cairnes.
