  1. There's a few on here who've had your experience including myself. If you paid by Paypal raise a dispute, they'll get your cash back, they did for me.
  2. Exactly my thinking, however I am getting used to the feel of it.
  3. Every other Thunderbird I've owned (with 3 point bridge) have had their saddles stepped. As in E being the highest and G being the lowest.
  4. Any of you other chaps with the new Vintage Pro Thunderbird find that their bridge saddles are aligned like this?
  5. I found one on aliexpress for $5.99, filled details in to order one, but stopped in my tracks when it insisted on having my mobile number. (WTF?) Did you encounter the same thing? and if not do you recall which vendor you got yours from?
  6. Did it fit without having to make new holes? and how long did it take to arrive?
  7. There's no GB650's on Gotoh's official site, I'm guessing you meant GB640's? If so, they are available in the UK here. https://tonetechluthiersupplies.co.uk/gotoh-gb640-res-o-lite-bass-machine-heads-nickel-4l.html?SID=4c2177c1b1f14f64fa4e389e117572de
  8. Judging by the fixing plates on Aerodyne machine heads I'm guessing these are what you'll be needing https://reverb.com/item/1007586-hipshot-hb10-bass-tuners-mij-fender-upgrade-4-inline-set-nickel-21010c
  9. Looks like there's not much room to play with there tbh, any straighter and the small apex's on the plates are gonna stick up over the edge of the headstock. Looking at yours I'm thinking that I think I may have a one off, as the serial number on mine is stamped into the headstock like on the Gibson's.
  10. Brilliant album! Great band, sadly missed. I bought it on vinyl within days of it's release, that pic ^ was a free poster that came with it, still gets played regularly, though the copy now is on CD.
  11. Featuring the very much overlooked Leeroy Gorman.
  12. Squier Standard series were decent basses with a PJ config, I had one myself years ago, but couldn't get away with the J pup, but if that's what you're after, there's one here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Squire-Black-P-Bass/113034447452?hash=item1a5160ca5c:g:uiwAAOSw5PJbE6R- and another https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FENDER-SQUIER-PRECISION-BASS/323289166629?hash=item4b45893325:g:ftMAAOSwhEla4w80 oh and the neck is J spec.
  13. "If you've got the money to buy one off of someone why not just go to dv 247? Their prices are good. £508 for vintage Sunburst, £517.00 for Arctic White & £531.00 for Ebony. I wish I'd known about this store before I went to Andertons.
  14. Can I have first refusal on the Gotoh machine head's if you're selling separately?
  15. IMHO The greatest live album of the 70's.
  16. LOL! Well if by any chance you change your mind, I've a Precision I could stick those Gotoh's on if you feel like moving them on?
  17. Then hurry up man I need to know if I can follow in your footsteps. lol
  18. Did you get around to fitting those yet? If so, any chance of a photo?
  19. Martin Kemp on Bass. Astral Joe..... He was a friend of mine.
  20. Squier Classic Vibe 70's Precision and Epi Vintage Pro Thunderbird.
  21. Well mate I phoned saying saying I'd swap my imperfect sunburst they sent me last week for another one as I couldn't be bothered to wait for the Ebony ones to arrive. the guy on the phone said oh wait we've just had a delivery of Ebony ones in (I didn't have one on order) Today this arrived
  22. It's not showing on their website but Andertons have the Ebony vintage Pro in stock, mine arrives Tomorrow.
