  1. They are great basses, I have one in Ebony, but sadly they're not holding their price like the Classic Pro's are.
  2. Being in the same Colourblindness boat, and having both sets at present, I'd say Ernie Ball's too! The lighter ones are looking like Group IV's (40-60-70-95) and the slightly darker ones Group III's (45-65-80-100) Both sets have Gold ball ends.
  3. Good bridges and decently priced too! I have them on two of my Precisions. I didn't know Hosco are a part of the Gotoh brand.
  4. I use the Brave browser on both my PC and phone and I wasn't even aware the obviously annoying Privacy tab existed.
  5. That's one beautiful bargain mate, I wish I had £850 to give you.
  6. Yes, yes you should and then you can sell me that MM neck 🙂
  7. Index and middle, when I was young I used to be able to incorporate the ring finger. During the mid 80's a few of us ended up in a fight with some local skinheads and I received a kick which somehow went between my middle and ring finger, luckily neither finger got broken, but damage was done and as a result my ring finger now rests at a slightly off angle towards my pinky. On the up side though, I found I can do a Mr Spock "Live long and prosper" gesture as easy as giving someone the V's.
  8. Very fairly priced originally, but an absolute giveaway now! These are a very decent set of pups. I can't fault the set in my VM Precision.
  9. If you ever feel like parting this out, keep me in mind for the neck please.
  10. If by some miracle it doesn't sell and you feel like parting it out. I'll happily take the neck.
  11. Has a few scuffs, though they're nowt serious, works perfectly. No box or instructions. Price inc P&P.
  12. Whenever I listen to Genesis' A Trick Of The Tail or Wind And Wuthering, I'm taken right back to the late 70's in Teesside, hanging out with friends, and listening to an eclectic mix of music around each others houses on bitterly cold winter nights.
  13. It is indeed a wonderful piece of music! Have you heard the version by The New American Orchestra? IMHO it's sublime.
  14. Great player, loved his stuff with the pre poodle Whitesnake.
  15. Probably a good idea to add sold to the title of the thread, then the admins can close the it.
  16. It looks like they're using the same page builders as Northwest Guitars.
  17. If I didn't already have one, this would be heading my way. £400 with a case is an absolute bargain. GLWTS. Personally, I'd rather keep it than let it go for anything less.
  18. Earlier this year I phoned them about a Tort Pickguard for a Precision they had advertised on their site, got an abrupt "They're out of stock!" and before I could ask if they were getting any more, I was listening to the dial tone. Yeah the guy may well have been dealing with a sale, but still, there's no need for that kind of crap.
  19. My Classic Pro doesn't dive at all, the Vintage is a different matter, but it's easily managed!
