Using you fine people for a bit of market research :)
Are you actually planning on doing this or is it all hypothetical?
purely hypothetical for an assignment, it needed to be media sector related and i couldn't really think of anything else that was kinda viable that didn't already have a strong contender in the market haha. -
I likes my metal too I have to say though I'd been dragged away from the dark side into an indie band because my metal band failed, but things are on the up again! Hopefully will be posting some clippings of the new metal band veeeerrry soon And yeah, I'm a whitechapel and despised icon kinda guy http://youtube.com/watch?v=j-cro_l8HLY http://youtube.com/watch?v=vSdplEm95h0
guessing you'll be seeing the Never say Die tour in November then I love me a bit of metal, Between the Buried and Me, Cancer Bats, Dillinger Escape Plan, Chimaira, and everything else haha!

As the title says, if all goes to plan in around a month i will be the owner of a HA3500 + VX410, i noticed that rating for the VX410 is only shown as 8 ohms, is it possible to get it to 4 ohms easily?

i seriously recommend the ibanez (G)SR range, very good basses for the money, although they are active, but the batteries do last a long time as long as you remeber to unplug the bass from the input jack when it's not in use. also, after trying some other brands AFTER buying my behringer amp i realise just how very very muddy and bad the sound produced from them is and wish i spent more on the amp first time around!

-
strange, just put the strings back on after having them off for a few days and it seems ok now :/, leave it a few more see if anything happens i guess.
-
sorry for the double post, but it seems i maybe on a lower gauge now, just resting the strings over the nut it seems they are lower than the previous any way to fix this up at all?
-
saying that burpster, i was reading the recommended luthiers thread and didn't realise Crimson guitars are only 5 miles from my house may have to have a look in there
-
cheers guys, i'll take it up to local shop an see how much a set up will cost me.
Sounds like it, as it's only resting on the first 5 frets. Have you gone down in gauge? (so, 55->50?)
not sure what gauge stock SX strings are in the first plce
-
Just restrung my SX jazz with some ernie ball slinys (50-70-85-105) and the 50 is resting on the frest up until the 5th or so fret, could i have f***ed up the unt during the restring? EDIt: how the f did this end up in build diaries? :| i was in repairs etc :s
-
thanks for that, sorta glad too Elixirs are damn expensive :|
-
After getting my SX jazz i've decided it needs new strings, i don't like the feel of their stock ones in the slightest but love the strings that came on my Ibby 205, anyone have any idea if they're Elixers or D'Addarios? I know they use both not sure what they use on which basses though.
