1.
Lovely purple inside, better than the chick I met last week
2.
thanks you dont see many in this colour
A 'word up' type bump.
 3. Oteil Burbridge is nuts. I'm probably repeating myself.
 4.
.just cant think of any reason why i need another.....
You can never have too many Jazz Basses.
 5.
What's your favourite bass?
6.
Let me re-post here the photo taken at the Jetsonics' gig at the Half Moon tonight. Loved the band.
Wot...? No hat? Disappointed.
 7. Shame you haven't got the original pick-ups and bridge, otherwise, with you being just around the corner, I'd have snapped your hand off for this. So in the meantme... ...have another bump!
 8. Well.... ....I think he could do with a few steak puddings down him, get a haircut, and stop wearing wimmin's clothes.
 9. I can't vote for black hardware. My taste just isn't that well developed.
 10. What's the valuation, Flex?
 11. So, Colin's a wind-up..., right?
 12.
I've never experienced that.
+1
 13.
He was taken from us too early, but if you had to choose an end this wouldn't be a bad one.
That. He made me want to play bass. So I did. My hero.... clear gone. Rest in Peace, Duck. .
 14.
+1 This is as far as my knowledge extends
Top man. You and me, eh Muzz? Way to go, Muzz.... way to go.
 15.
It seems fine to me. I think the ambitious pricing is due to the seller not realising that upgrades generally don't increase the value of an instrument and in many cases decrease the desirability! He'd have been better off selling it stock and putting the pickups and bridge in seperate auctions
Yep. All that.
 16.
Not a fan of sunburst....
Funny you never mentioning that before.
 17.
Not had a P for about 16 years.... I got GAS bad!!
Christ, your bladder must be a wreck, Sirrah. I'll get me coat. Gorgeous bass type bump.
 18.
Firstly - I have a 90's Fender USA 62' RI. I'm not sure if its a 1993 or a 1998, the stamp is a little faint.
V113211 would place it more 98 than 93. 93's were around V055**** to around V075****. There are anomalies. I'd suggest matching it with the pot and pick-up codes. Gorgeous bass. Good luck with the sale. Berrrrumpity bump.
 19.
Annoying isn't it. I am in agreement that it was probably a bit of a bad plan posting up so quickly on Talkbass as its full of priggish behaviour and 'internet experts', but its harsh to see him copping so much flak.
It's a curious thing that so many 'experts' can appear and how many lawyers are suddenly attracted to the [TB] forum when someone luckily lands a nice old piece. 75% of the content that thread smacks of jealousy and envy, to me. How insecure some of those sad b*****ds must be to feel the need to chime in with such desperate rubbish. Have I said too much? I'll get me coat.
 20. What does the girlfriend think...? In the meantime...
Will the purchase mean selling your RW as well as your US? If not, keep the RW and get the 57 as well.
....is the correct answer.
 21.
' timestamp='1336150257' post='1641808'] Price wise, £450 sounds like a fair price to me.
That's an exceedingly fair price, Tom. And how handsome it is with the torty plate. Good luck with the sale type bump. .
 22.
Truss rod adjusment at both ends of the neck?
No. The pickguard has been changed out for one with the notch for heel adjusters. I think this is a kosher Mex standard with the pick ups and plate changed out. I think £400's a bit steep, mind.
