2. Is it possible that the headstock logo originally read Hohner ? There is nothing below the line where the lower part of an " f " would be .
3. The son of my guitarist mate plays with a young Thai lad on their council estate . Due to translation problems when the single mother had to fill in details for a birth certificate he ended up with the first name " Boy " .
4. The three are the same , just starting a major third lower each time , EXCEPT for: - the first chord of bar three is a minor in the first verse , major in the other two , and - the first chord of bar one is a minor in the first two verses , major in the third verse So I would learn the 4-and-bit-bar pattern and keep in mind that : the first chord of bars 1 and 3 is minor and minor for the first verse minor and major for the second verse major and major for the third verse ( and each verse starts a major third lower than the previous one. ) So 4-and-a-bit bars and two caveats would be easier to remember than 15 . Hope that helps
5. Post a chord chart with bar numbers pencilled in and maybe someone can spot the patterns-within-the-patterns .
6. Discovered this YouTube video the other day that I thought some here might enjoy . It has only been up since March with less than 200k views . ( The first riff Rabbit plays is from the Free song " Heartbreaker " , title track of the album he played on , although not one of the two songs he wrote on it . )
7. Also Music Vault YT channel for dinosaurs living in the past .

9. Here's one I defretted earlier : Fretboard was dyed black . Sanding revealed a nice aromatic piece of rosewood underneath . With black nylon tapewounds and chickenhead knobs . Heavy, but ok in a good way .
10. Self-amalgamating tape leaves no sticky residue .
11. Just really listen to what you are actually doing without superimposing desires/expectations over the top . Sooner or later one's own true self/sound emerges .
12. The baritone player and the trumpeter that does the introductions before the last number of this New Orleans band have been in it since it formed in 1977 .
13. Right at the very end of this session guys' jam someone ( sax player ? ) says " Love that E flat ! " . What is he referring to ? ( I have an opinion , but I don't want to prejudice replies .)

15. Put the instrument down , stand up and stretch like a cat , have a cup of tea / short walk . Then when you pick the instrument up again let your hands do what they want without any criticism or self-judgement or expectation . Just witness the sound without evaluating it . Pretty soon something interesting or new will surface . It is the self-doubt and criticism that smothers creativity . Goal obsession discourages the Muse , an attitude of play encourages it . 10:45 onwards :
16. Something Else ( Pistols version ) into Summertime Blues Hi Ho Silver Lining Nutbush City Limits Over The Hill Sharp Dressed Man
17. See the original We Go Together in the film ( Grease ) . I guess the film director wanted some extra music at the start of the song to give the actors time to run into place and asked for something with added lift . The old up-a-tone trick works neatly .
18. Sometimes I mess up endings because I'm busy thinking about what to play newt . ( Doh ! Did it again ^ . )

20. Expanding foam-type earplugs trimmed to size after insertion . Maybe . Maybe not .
21. I have always assumed "comping" was a abbreviation for accompanying as in :- During the flood grandma floated away on the grand piano and grandpa accompanied her on the double bass . Carry on OT.

24. Interesting blog article by a Brit muso ; https://innerpieces....after-tinnitus/
25. I've had a similar rattle where the ear part of the tuner was vibrating where it's own shaft is pressed over it . ( The flat part that one turns sits in a groove in the end of the worm-drive shaft ) Test by looping a rubber band around the end of the shaft and wrapping it over the ear to dampen . Sometimes the tiny gap can be nipped up with mole grips , but I have cured one by forcing clear bathroom silicon sealant into the gap with a fingernail , then wiping away the excess and leaving it to set .
