Great stuff, Mick. When you have narrowed down the date, I'll put my name on the list. Everybody - Mick is saying the truth about his contacts with manufacturers. With your help, we can think of interesting ways of getting them to help us carry out tests, comparisons, experiments and similar. I will tweet this thread tomorrow, and pin it to the top when we have decided on the date. The Dogs had a great first-ever gig at the Chiswick Club Society - on their home patch of W4 - on Saturday. There was a lot of dancing, and some of it - by older punters! - was seriously impressive [url="https://flic.kr/s/aHsk9cjRPc"]https://flic.kr/s/aHsk9cjRPc[/url]

I'll be walking around with a BC lanyard around my neck, two cameras hanging from my shoulders and a tablet in my hand. I'll be visiting all the stands and trying to catch as many live shows and masterclasses as possible. Everybody please do feel free to stop me and say hi, and pose for my cameras - I want to take pics of absolutely everything and everybody, and then inflict them all on you guys through my usual blog!

Yup, I only know the year because I looked at the serial number on the headstock when I received the bass. Still a great bargain, mind - the neck and the fingerboard especially are fantastic.

Probably Corvette Pros from 2010, I bought one last month and had a bit of a prob with the bridge, but I fixed it (see under Repairs and Technical)

@ peted - put your BC name on a card an place it in your lanyard, so it's not just less official but we'll know who you are! @ Shell - see you there!

BC lanyard anyone? I'll be wearing one, and might have one or two spares to give away.

Regardless of whether Basschat will be there officially, those of us who attend the show can agree to meet up in a certain place at a certain time once or twice a day, for instance, at the cafe or at one of the larger stands. Would anyone be up for that?
