Watch out for potential narrow battery housing and slightly bigger-than-standard 9V batteries - a combination that may give you trouble closing or screwing back the compartment cover and/or cause you to pull or twist some of the internal wires.

I've been meaning to sit down and work out that bassline since I first became a bassist, and yet never got down to it. I'm sure it sounds easier than it is. If some good soul has the dots and can put Marvin and me out of our misery we'll be eternally grateful

You mean the London Bass Guitar Show? Yes, of course you can buy and/or order. And yes, usually there are special show deals. Can't comment on how good they are, as my buying experience there is limited to small items - the joys of being a lefty! - and several years old.
