1. The Dogs put on a big show at the White Bear in Ruislip on 21/02/14: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bluejay_my_photos/12716952274/in/set-72157641398957894
2. Wow! That's a unusual place. Love the photo
3. LOL! Photos now in the Live section
4. Info on Bass Gear's competitions for Basschatters at the LBGS, and visits from star luthiers here: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/230332-basschat-bass-gear-at-the-london-bass-guitar-show-loads-of-free-stuff-to-win/page__view__findpost__p__2374909
5. By the way, as I said regarding the Midlands Bass Bash, if you guys take photos and write a few words and would like me to post them on my blog, to join my other entries about the SE Bass Bash and Herts Bass Bash, LBGS 2013 and the soon-to-be-written LBGS 2014, I'll be happy to help, since there is no blog facility on this site. Just chuck the files my way when you have them
6. I know I'll be tweeting to @bassguitarshow if the rule isn't generally respected. Anyone else attending can do the same.
7. This one maybe? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/224650-for-those-who-cant-make-the-london-bass-show-birmingham-same-weekend/
8. I've been meaning to sit down and work out that bassline since I first became a bassist, and yet never got down to it. I'm sure it sounds easier than it is. If some good soul has the dots and can put Marvin and me out of our misery we'll be eternally grateful
9. I thoroughly agree. Heh.
10. I think they have promised to allow demos only for 15 minutes every hour this year, and make sure everybody adheres. But I can't seem to find anything about it on the website.
11. You mean the London Bass Guitar Show? Yes, of course you can buy and/or order. And yes, usually there are special show deals. Can't comment on how good they are, as my buying experience there is limited to small items - the joys of being a lefty! - and several years old.
12. Looking good so far! This is the timetable for the meetups at the BC corner - but do feel free to chase me around when I'm not there
13. First time there for the band, and they're planning to raise the roof!
14. Quo-Caine, IIRC. They play in the South East but so far I haven't been able to see them, as every time has clashed with a Junkyard Dogs gig or some other event I was booked for. One day... Let us know where you guys play, post your dates in the Gigs forum
15. Oh, I like that Thanks for adding your band! If you tour down south we'll try to catch you. BC's Colin "Hamster" plays in a Quo tribute band too, so you're part of an elite
16. That is one hell of a departure from our usual threads in this subforum! And playing in front of such a huge crowd...! Love it Keep us all posted
17. I'm getting the impression that lefty models are - as many other "luxury" items or items with less of a mass appeal - becoming victims of the financial crisis. Unlike in the past, manufacturers now seem totally reluctant to commit to producing them, and only act upon insistent demand, if at all.
18. Bump. If you don't get any replies I'll tweet your question.
19. Done Happy birthday #BCBassRelay!
20. Let me know if you don't find anyone suitable, and I can tweet this to our followers.
21. See you there, Richard
22. Yup! Stand C1A in the main hall, shared with Bass Gear. You won't fail to notice us
