OK, I would say that the meetup seems viable, judging by the number of posters who expressed interest on here. So, would you guys really prefer to have curry for lunch somewhere, as opposed to meeting up for a drink or - weather permitting - a picnic? As for the place, suggestions welcome, presumably depending on which of the above options the majority prefers. Should be reasonably central so that as many of us as possible can reach it without having to spend hours travelling. Thanks for your help - and humour - so far!

Nope - that's right at the opposite end of town from where I live, and I'd prefer not to have to travel for more than an hour just to reach the place, if at all possible. I'm thinking of something relatively central such as one of the parks (Regent's, Hyde) or a pub in the area if the weather plays up. Or, of course, we can go to the same place as our first meetup, the South Bank, if you guys prefer.

I think the comment referred to the "phwoaar-worthy" photo of her with the bass, not specifically to her music.

I think many of us were young when Kate Bush was young as well, so we've sort of grown old together, hence the attraction for our male contingent...? I find that much more dignified than perving after women young enough to be their daughters.
