1. Bridge cavities or saddles that are too small for a flatwound low B. Bridges that are too close to the neck and make proper intonation of the aforementioned low B impossible without taking off the saddle spring. Warwick basses are guilty as charged, but the problem is by no means limited to them. Nuts that aren't adjustable in height at both ends. Almost all makes of basses except Warwick are guilty of that.
2.
I hope you've checked out the kebab shops in the area. You could give a workshop on them. I'm in.
Please record a video!
3. I've just created a Facebook event for the bash! https://www.facebook.com/events/1742538699397977/
4. That would have been asking too much, I guess...
5. No experience of the pedals themselves, I'm afraid, but just a note to say that I was automatically presented with the website in English - if you are currently looking at the Italian version, you can switch to English via the Language tab in the top right-hand corner.
6. The cello is also tuned differently from the DB - in fifths starting from C (two octaves below middle C), IIRC.
7. This was offered and confirmed this evening. Join us there if you can. 543-545 Kingsbury Rd, London NW9 9EL.
8. We went to see Dave (TheRev) and his incredibly tight, hugely entertainig band supporting The Wurzels last Thursday. Whole album here: http://flic.kr/s/aHskQSWueT
9. And the winner is KiOgon!
10. Actually I had a look at that guitar a few months ago and attempted to set it up, and the problem is that two saddles (D and B IIRC) are seized. Next time we'll take the strings off and deep-clean the entire bridge, and the guitar should be fine again.
11.
Sorry about the double post ☹️
I've hidden the redundant post.
12. You don't have a Christmas tree.
13. And David Ellefson and Stu Hamm are back.

16. A bit cramped at Luna Lounge at the end of October:
17. The Oxjam Crouch End festival at the Earl Haig:
18. The East Barnet Festival in July was an absolute hoot!
19. Jack's second gig with the band was at Mascara Bar last July.
20. North London-based folk/Americana band with some core members and a bewildering array of deps. Happy Jack joined as a core member earlier this year. The first gig was at the East Finchley festival last June.
21. Slightly farther from home on 3rd Dec - a return to The Victoria in Aldershot. Featuring Walk On The Wild Side with frontman Rick playing slide guitar with a banana... Whole album here: https://flic.kr/s/aHskJjQ4TZ
22. Great stuff! Will tweet this thread on Basschat's account tomorrow during the day, to ensure maximum exposure.
23. And last night's gig, again in Chiswick - we hadn't played The Tabard for quite a while. It was great fun! http://flic.kr/s/aHskHvjjQL
