Yes, those who arrive at reception and aren't already wearing their own BC lanyard will receive a sticker when they pay the entrance fee. -
I've given up on handbags in favour of large canvas 'totes' (is that the correct fashion term?) full of either photo equipment or music-related accessories. Shoes? Who gives a damn about shoes when you have bass?

Welcome to Basschat! On this forum there are several of us slightly-older-women-with-a-bass - or indeed with several basses, wait until the GAS gets you! Never feel you're too old to do anything, be it learning or taking on new challenges. Many of us on here, male and female, started playing bass from scratch in our middle age, and are doing great. By the look of it, you're doing great too, so keep up the excellent work and get stuck in the discussion on Basschat!

The South East Bash is the largest of our bashes, so you can usually expect a minimum of 35-40 people, and often many more. It's not primarily geared towards sales - although you can buy and sell stuff - so you can just be there with a couple of basses and show those off to us -
its a no from me.but that no covers all solos not just bass.as a youngster I always jumped at the chance to go see metallica.usually a great show until the solos they were boring/dull and seemed never ending.id rather they just played 3 or 4 more songs
Their guitar, drums and bass solos weren't driven exclusively by their egos. James needed breaks to rest his voice, and obviously the other bandmembers who weren't playing a solo at any one time could rest for a few minutes too. Jason usually played some nice melodic solos which stopped just before becoming boring! -

Hi Roberto, and welcome to Basschat! I think that once you've tried a good fretless, you'll simply fall in love with it. They are obviously not suitable for all kinds of music or songs, but they are unbeatable in the right place at the right time. I see you're based in Livorno - perhaps you could plan a reasonably quick trip to the Emporio Senese to try a few fretless models? Assuming the Emporio is still there, and they still sell basses? Haven't been there for a long time, but I remember it being a pretty large store with a decent selection at the time. Oh, and be ready to get lots more GAS while you're on this forum!
