I will follow this topic. I did try the 4 string version a week ago, and really like the neck. It make me think bought one and transform at my liking. Change pickups, pré, bridge, tunners and knobs. I even made a picture how would it look 😂 I want to use it on a rock/metal band

One more QC here 😆 It’s been fun with this setup. I connected the QC and H9 with a MIDI cable. Now I can change presets on the H9 with the QC.

I forgot to update the Yamaha’s in & out 😂 The BB424 left the house (very good bass by the way) I bought a BBP35 a couple of months ago. What a fantastic bass this is. I love it!!!! I also have a BB1025. It’s a different beast compared to the BBP35. The BBP35 it’s now without the pickguard. Will have a transparent. I will picture when it arrives.

This is not helping me 😬 I tried one in a trip I maid to Glasgow this week. What a fantastic bass. And the pickguard looks nice to.

I get the chance to try the Yamaha BBP35 and I love it. Different from the BB1025 I have but in a good way. I would love to have both 😆 I’m in Glasgow for some days work and went for GuitarGuitar. What a BIG instruments store. I don’t have that in Portugal. IMG_8340.MOV

Outdoor concert with my BB1025. I love this bass. My MMStingRay5 stayed in the case.

A friend of mine recorded my band concert in a local castle yesterday. Damn Sessions My gear was - Yamaha BB1025, Bergantino forté HP, 2xSchroeder 15’ cabs. Pedalboard with TC Electronic Polytune, Origin Effects Compact Bass, Eventide H9, Line6 Stomp and Darkglass Photon. It was recorded with a phone, but the sound is not bad at all. Hope you like it.

I bought the 424 because I couldn’t find a 1024 where I live (Portugal). And I read where the difference's some of you wrote about this two basses and pull the trigger. For the band I want to use it (punk/hardcore) I really really like it. Before the show I put a new set of Elixir SS strings and made a quick set up. The sound cut true the mix very well, even with a really loud drummer and guitarist. They also said they liked the sound of the bass. I think the 1025 put’s more “body” to the sound. Don’t now if I can explain this in words. I use the 1025 in a very different style of band and in a different tuning. In resume the BB1025 put a StingRay5 at home and the BB424 a 1977 Ibanez lawsuit jazz bass.
