  1. Hi I've started to read music and I cannot get my head around the rests and value of notes. Recognising them on the stave I can do its just rythms. For Example When Im reading if I find out that in the next bar theres a quaver rest, I kind of over think the rest and it just becomes a crotchet rest and the peices timing is totally out If it makes sense, i know all the values of each rest note length etc Its just when you put it together is where i fall apart any tips/advice ? cheers

  14. you cant do much on the ipad version, although you can still plug in and record. It also has a few loops and i mean a few, these loops are something like 2 piano,2 drums etc etc your better off getting a macbook, even the cheaper ones will do the trick if your just going to use it for home recording, nothing major. also, getting the garageband/logic pro has loads of loops you can play off, edit scores and what not, also can transcribe some of the funky basslines on there

  17. Hi Was just wondering are there any apps you guys have found lately that have been helpful in your playing/practising. What I've found is ChordBot or something along the lines like that. you can play any chord sequence you want but it's not really made for the iPad, still does the job though. Any other suggestions ? Cheers
