i got some wire wool from the poundshop works a treat,i normally clean mine up and if its rosewood use linseed oil on the fretboard its revived a few of my basses

shame about the bass but at least fender are going to sort it out i bet it comes back perfect and if you need to borrow a bass you can borrow one of mine if you get stuck

from what ive read the bass centre bass is a czech made rebadged mtd grendel,nice bass hipshot bridge schaller tuners and bartolini pickups and preamp i bought the pair of these from ebay

i watched a bit of them and one of the songs sounded like radioheads high and dry i thought i couldnt really get excited by them i prefered kenny rogers

truss rod adjustment body end but it doesnt look like an sq or jv to me

ours was take that rule the world, then on our honeymoon in italy it was kid rock all summer long basically the axis of power turned around the time of the wedding now my music is frowned upon but i won by obtaining a music room so i can play bass watch music dvd and listen to tunes whenever i like! (well almost)

I had that on my ebay watchlist, ive always wanted a bass with twin p pickups i didnt bid in the end im trying my best to scale down my basses Looks like a bargain though good luck with it are the pickups decent?

i love that bc rich ive seen the pics and remember the video well, im a big thin lizzy fan i ended up buyng a ibanez rs900 and a dynacord bs412, funny thing was i didnt realise it was the same type of bass phil lynott had used till after i bought it. same thing happened when i bought my aria sb black n gold i didnt realise cliff burton had played one of these till after i bought that.

I played many fender copies over the years when i was lacking the cash for a real fender,but when i finally had enough money i bought a real one and fender over the years have spent money and time trying to refine develop there products. I think the company in question would be better off spending there time refining there product and developing new ones of a quality to match the price tag. And maybe as others have said a ban on all mention of the name.

the body i think is alder two piece and cost bout £16 on ebay plus i think £15 next day delivery its got a little chip out of neck pocket but you cant really notice it,as for the scratchplate i think im gonna keep it tortoise rosewood as it suits it i think.

although im going for the rosewood/ tortoise version as these are parts i already had

i bought a 1975 precision for £150 quid and swapped it for a very dodgy eb3 many years ago doh!

i read his biography recently and it was actually a really enjoyable book and i rarely read books and the police did some good stuff

I have an sr505 and bought a sr900 but i actually preferred the 505 so i sold on the 900 The setup on the 505 is brilliant and i bought it as my first 5 string dont think i will ever sell it
