Good heavy-duty cover for your old Trace combo...bump
-
No problem with Saturday - I have PM'd you with more details.
Cheers -
If it doesn't sell to topo morto, I'm interested...
Let me know.
Cheers -
You're showing your age (or I'm showing mine)

50 pence posted...? That's a bargain...

I bought a Mesa Radiator 1X12 cab and cover from Jay - he is excellent to deal with, an honest seller.
Recommended. -
Bump for an ace set of monitors - I have a pair myself and they are fantastic.
Good luck with the sale. -

I used to have a Trace Elliot 2x10 combo...I got a 15" extension cabinet and the bottom end was back! So I say go for it.

Keep in mind that Trace Elliot amps generally provide maximum power with a 4ohm load so adding your 1X15 would have probably doubled your available power - that is very noticeable.
Another quick thought for the OP - try and find a 4ohm 2X10 cab as it will match up better with your existing 2X10 arrangement.
HTH -
If you have 350W as it stands, and 500W at 2ohms, you will probably only get ~400W @ 2.67ohms which isn't much of an increase.
The extra speaker will push some more air though and if you stack the combo and 1X12 cab, the speakers will be nearer ear level so you may like that improvement - I would try it out before parting with any cash.
If you can, look out for a 2X12 @ 4ohm - they are far more common and you will definitely get an improvement. -

Wow! Great deal, there!
The covers were a £75 extra at the time, aye?
Yep - a keen offer I think.
It was a long time ago but you could be right abou the price of the covers.
Just for clarity, I only have a cover for the combo, not the cab. -
Looking to move on my 1994 (pre-Gibson) TE stack.
250W Trace Elliot 4X10 SMX combo - valve/tranny preamp, twelve-band graphic, dual-band compressor etc.
Owned by me from new and in good, used condition with heavy duty cover.
Trace Elliot 2X10 extension cab. Both combo and cab are finished in tolex.
A few small tears in the tolex on the 2X10 which could be easily re-glued.
I will try to get some decent pictures up tomorrow.
Sell for £400 or possibly trade for a decent Precision or P/J bass or maybe a Fender Mike Dirnt...WHY...? -
My apologies - it looks lovely...!

How much...?

I think it's going to mainly be a UK thing unless Alex decides to embark on a distribution strategy...
Barefaced cabs are already distributed to many countries directly: http://barefacedbass.com/ordering-and-availability.htm -

PM about trades...

Are these the Jazz Bass 77 Rotosounds...?
-
If you get a good one they are as good as anything else IMHO.
Many owners rate the Squier VM series and the CV series better than the genuine Fenders... -
I can recommend them - I built a Phase 90 kit from them about a year ago.

I like the Pearl Octave from the 80s - it does two octaves down and one up.
Also, the T-Rex Octavius looks very nice but i haven't tried one personally: http://t-rex-effects.com/products-1/octavius-1-2-3-4.aspx?VariantID=

My understanding is that you are better to take the second option - take it steady for a while, then wind it up a little.
It also saves your (and your family's) sanity...
