Hi guys, I'm looking for a small pedal board which I can attach my aguilar tonehammer and aguilar octamizer to. I would like space perhaps for one other pedal. Most I have found appear to be too big. Ideally not much deeper than the aguilar pedals which are about 5.5inches. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Freddie

Hi guys, just need some advice on best way to set up a rack of seperates I am putting together. This is what I have; Korg pitchblack pro bass tuner Bbe bmax preamp Crown xti 2000 I am a complete novice at this so and its mainly where the tuner needs to sit ie before or after the preamp and if you are familiar with this set up or something similar which is the best way to connect them up? I'm looking for a good guitarist to join the ranks of new function band playing classic disco/funk covers as well as modern stuff such as Jamiroquai, Daft Punk (Nile Rogers), Bruno Mars to name a few. We rehearse in Swindon on a Wednesday evening so you must be able to commit to that as well as gigs which we are aiming for 4/5 per month on average. Hi all, I have found a lushious tone using my Streamliner 900 with an aguilar tone hammer preamp pedal running through my gb neox 212t cab - I am running the pedal through the input of the amp rather than the preamp in on the back as it sounds so much nicer (imo). I have 2 of these cabs however the streamliner runs a min of 4ohms meaning I'm unable to use the cabs together. I also have a crown power amp (which can run at 2ohms) however I cannot get the same tone through it. Is there another solution? Basically I want a streamliner or something very similar that can run 2 x 4 ohm cabs. Sorry if this sounds like I'm talking s**t! Thanks in advance Freddie

Hi guys, I recently acquired a Crown XTI 2000 power amp and am now on the hunt for a preamp. I want a rackable pre and not a pedal. I am currently using this with the Aguilar tonehammer pedal - and through a genz neox 212t. I would prefer to get a tube pre but for clean/warm sound - not really into dialing in any dirt as would use a pedal for that. Any recommendations based on personal experience would be appreciated and particularly if you also use or have used the Crown XTI. I best mention that I primarily play funk / dance / R&B covers and my favourite tones would have to be that of players like Zender, Turner, etc. I know that tone is in the fingers for the most part but just looking at something to help me along the way......... Same happened to me. Can be repaired under warranty or in my case I asked for the LEDs so I could get them soldered in myself. As you have said, it's purely cosmetic - sound not affected. Quite common from some forums I have found online.

Are you referring to the Crown XLS Drivecore? I have only read good reviews on these when compared with the Peavey IPR - particularly the Drivecore 1500. I'm looking at getting one of these myself to pair up with my tone hammer pre-amp pedal.

Hi all, Thinking of purchasing a crown xls drivecore 1500 and then purchasing a couple of rackable preamps. I have an aguilar tone hammer pedal so gonna start with that - just wouldnt mind a few options for the varius bands I play in. Anyone have experience using the crown and if so which preamps can you recommend to use with it? I play mainly funk/soul/reggae/dance stuff but also in a foo fighters tribute.
