  1. 1960 Fender Precision - Slab Board - LPB Refin So I’m the second player/owner of this beautiful bass. It’s original owner decided to paint the entire original sunburst finish black in the late 60s - every single inch. The black was professionally removed - and the bass is now sporting a nitro LPB Refin completed by Angela Arnott (Guitar Angel). During Refin a pencil date of 5/60 was exposed and preserved - this matches the serial number - the original owners address was also found written into the heal - I have more photos of the restoration. The bass was originally owned by Frank Jackson of The High Fi’s - if you Google him you will find an article where it says he is selling his black 1960 bass!! This bass toured across Germany and appeared alongside some big stars of the day! I’ve included a picture of Frank with the Hi Fis in the early 60s. All original apart from pots date to 1966 - the pups have a faint 65 pencil mark and they appear to be green/grey backed which would indicate 1965/66 (according to Angela) - pencil marking under pups were unreadable. The pick guard is also a Spitfire replacement. All other hardware original apart from a couple of pick up screws and the pup cover (although it’s old). She’s weighs in at 7.75lb without the covers! The bass comes with its original Selmer case - and a set of original 60s Duratone Nylon Tape Strings - it’s currently strung with some quite heavy Ernie Ball flats - sounds very old school!! Condition wise the neck is excellent - hardly any fretwear on the Brazilian rosewood slab neck. Truss rod all good. Coupe of little dings where I’ve played her out - and a bit of the scuffing on the rear of the top horn. - shown in photos. All else excellent. Im not massively in a rush to sell but I think I’ve priced this fairly - as a player grade vintage bass. Pick up only from Gloucestershire. Thanks for looking - any questions just ask! No trades thanks.
  2. Thanks Alex - yeah they aren't the lightest - but do sound great with plenty of features!

  4. Vintage 62' Reissue for vintage Fender Precision - period correct for 1960-71. I had this imported from the USA - fits my 1960 perfectly - but the colour was a little too Tort for me - and since then ive upgraded to a browner looking Spitfire. Its a nice looking pickguard though and is slightly reliced. I'm just looking for some of my money back on this one due to import taxes etc. Will INCLUDE postage if £95 paid. Thanks!!
  5. Any interest in a trade for a RS210 plus cash your way? Thanks Matt
  6. Im sorry this isnt a YouTube clip - not very techy myself - but hopefully this short clip has attached and can be clicked on. The Bass is on flats so sounds quite woody - excuse my rusty noodling!! Thanks Matt IMG_1844.MOV
  7. Hi - when I bought the bass it was covered in some sort of wood stain - it was professionally lightly rubbed back and lightly refinished - it was a natural finish originally as the bass has the words ‘Natural’ under the pups Thanks Matt
  8. 1973 Fender Precision - Plus Original Hard Case Got my eye on something so putting my 73 Precision up for sale. This is a wonderful players bass - feels and sounds just how it should. All original apart from the scratch plate and the pups have been rewound by Bare Knuckle. The ash body, maple neck and pups are from 72, with the pots dated 73. Weight is 9.5lbs. Has the usual road wear and one slightly deeper nick that I’ve pictured. This has been my main bass for 15 years and has a beautiful balanced tone - currently strung on flats. Any questions welcome. Not interested in trades - and I would like buyer to collect due to weight and value. Thanks for looking!
  9. 1976 Fender Jazz Natural (Maple)+ Original Hard Case Up for sale is my beloved 1976 Jazz bass - took me ages to find my birth year bass but sadly needs must! All original - pups dated 76’ pots 75’ - the neck carries the longtime Fender Neck guru stamp of Herbie Gastelum - the indisputable ‘King of Feel’! Indeed - this bass has a beautiful feel and tone. She’s not without her battle scares - has some lacquer surface cracks and a couple of deeper marks on the bout - the G tuner also has a slight bend but this doesn’t affect functionally or tuning. She’s just been set up - so ready to go. Weight is 9.5lb - so very comfortable. Comes with her original hard case - locking catches are missing but centre latch works well and keeps the bass secure.
  10. Mark 1 - David Gage Realist Copperhead pickup - I bought this recently and it all works fine - just doesn’t seem to suit the sound of my bass - happy to post in a jiffy included in price - thanks for reading
  11. Selling my custom P51 B-Cab - beautiful hand crafted bass by Angela Arnott (Guitar Angel) - this bass was made for me when I was playing electric bass for The Rosellys - I have since made the move to upright with band and no longer use the bass. This is a wonderful instrument - hand cut Alder Body with belly cut and white binding - Mapel Neck - Aged Nitro Finish - Gretsh Electronics - and TV Jones Thunderton pick up - a truly unique bass. The bass still has its original Rosellys clear pick guard - but I have been using it for other shows with a standard white cabronita pick guard (this guard is slightly smaller and I have not drilled new holes for it). Condition is very good - a few buckle marks and marks to the top horn (see pic). Sound wise it’s got great bottom end but it also has clear mids and top end - it’s also very comfortable to play thanks to the belly cut - and pretty light at 8.5lb - I’m based near Bristol - but happy to post if you wish at buyers cost. Any questions welcome thanks Matt
  12. Musicman 65 - Early 70s Twin Chanel Valve Amp - plus matching (non EV) RH115 cab (very rare now!!). Lovely warm tone and very powerful. All original- tear to front of cab material (can be easily repaired as material is still available) -and the usual tolex battle scares. Just replaced the EL34 valves (Electroharmonics) - sounding good. All in all a great sounding piece of vintage kit. I use the bass channel only and it fills the room. Sorry about the photos I'm not great with IT! Would prefer collection from WOTTON under Edge, Glos, but will post at buyers expense if required - asking for a straight £500!!
