1. BUMP - You can hear my dodgy fretless playing and singing on the link below - its a beautiful bass but should be being played by someone who can play it properly lol!
https://www.box.com/s/5y39sjrq3hw8j64nl14m
2. Cheers Jake, Yes this is beautiful - im no fretless player but it plays real nice and sounds great - the J pup is essential to broaden the tonal possibilities though!
3. Any interest in a 1981 MIJ Ibanez Blazer plus a small amount of cash??
4. Vintage 1976/77 Fender Precision For Sale. This bass is in near mint condition with a beautiful sunburst finish and smooth ebony neck! The bass has its original pots dated '76 and the original pickups are dated '77. The serial number for the bass is 76' and it has the matching serial number under the pickguard. The added J pick up is not date marked but the added pot is dated '79 so it is likely that this would have been a fairly early conversion. From inspection of the cavity the bass has been professionally routed and it is a very neat job indeed. The Bass Ass bridge is also an addition. The bass carries the correct '70's markings/stamps on neck butt/heel and neck pocket in body. As stated the body is in near mint condition, with only a small mark on the bottom of the body and small nick on edge of headstock. The bass will come professionally set up and serviced and will make a fantastic addition to someones collection! She's weighing in at a very respectful 10.5lbs. This bass will come with a hard case (slightly tatty) - and im willing to courier internationally at the buyers cost. Please feel free to PM me for more pictures - I have lots available - any questions/trials welcome. Many Thanks! £1100 - (sorry no trades)

6. Chris, is an excellent example of what this site is about - a true legend! Bought a 74 P - excellent communication, even from the USA! Nothing was too much trouble - all questions answered - and thanks to Rumour6 who packaged and sent the bass on Chris's behalf. Deal with confidence - what a guy!
7. Thanks Stubass - if you sell your Roscoe - happy to sell this beauty to you!!
8. Tobias Standard 5 for Sale Made in the early 90's in Japan and finished in USA by the Tobias team at Burbank California, before Tobias was sold to Gibson. Its in good overall condition - usual small dings and buckle rash to the rear - a couple of dings on the side of the neck. Original Bart pups and electronics. Bart TCT 3 band pre (The mid pot is inside the control cavity, this is the way these were produced). Beautiful through neck construction, an Ash body with a maple core and bubinga stringers, and a rosewood fretboard. The neck is assymetric and very comfortable. The line up for that time period was this: Standard, Basic, Classic, Signature About 400 Standard 5's were produced.. £750 - including a hard flight case and postage (mainland UK)! Sorry no trades. On his MTD website Mike Tobias said: "Business was still very good and we were not able to make anywhere near enough basses to fill the orders. Instead of trying to jack up production, we tried to get outside vendors to build for us. We had 110 Model T basses made for us by a very fine builder in New England, and then we got the Terada factory in Nagoya, Japan to make the Standard bass for us. This was and is a great bass, but the dollar/yen ratio killed the project. There were about 400 standards".
