  1. TRADED!!!!

Up for trade is my Sterling Ray 34, I've only had this a few months since getting it from Lozz. It's a great bass but it isn't really me.

I'm looking for a trade for a Fender Highway One Precision - Pref in black but can be the other colours must be the nitro finish badass version or a RW precision or any fender p with a nitro finish

    !!!!!Edit!!!!!!

Also will swap for a fender precision with a maple neck

Gig bag, schaller strap locks and levys strap included

They are £604 new on GAK and I believe this was got new in the summer this year so I'll say trade value at £550

    Here's some info from GAK:

  2. On my way home from a truely amazing show, we had quality seats right behind Dom.

I know there isn't much Muse love on here but I'm showing mine.

For weeks I've said how Unsustainable would be such a good opener, the lights going out with the strings coming in and then gradually fading in until it breaks down. Well that essentially happened :)

Everything was great, set list had songs from all their albums including some off Showbiz! The stage setup was amazing and the lighting show was just mind blowing.

Even though we were behind we were really close to them and regularly Doms kit rotated round and faced us and Matt a Chris spent ages singing and playing to us.

Liquid State was really good, Chris is an amazing player but to play such a complicated bass line and a hard melody to sing was so good to see and hear.

They were all really animated and had a lot of crowd interaction.

Absolutely loved it, my voice is f***** but worth it

That makes sense. I think the amp's loop isn't as hot a signal as direct from the bass (not 100% positive on that though).
You do realise you now need a controllable filter? :)

Just tried the effects direct from the bass and it works so much better! Thanks :)

That video is actually really good I quite enjoyed it!

  4. Got myself an oc2 today and on most of the notes it seems like the note is jumping around all over the place.........I've done some googling and people say that's a characteristic of the pedal. Is this true? Just wanted some bass chatters input :)

I've put a new battery in if that helps?

  5. Sorry to hear that Lozz, I know you've already responded to this but really see if you can keep at least one of the basses, I know what you mean about being more practical and it would help funds etc but I am really reluctant to move stuff on if it has sentimental value.

I hope things get sorted out for you, it doesn't seem like luck has been on your side, with your amp going and having to sell the precision you got off me to fund a new amp and now this :(

Things will improve mate and if things seem to get too much just stick on your favourite album and jam along!

I believe it stops the slight low end boost you normally get when turning the tone knob all the way down.

+1 I remember reading that it just rolled the top end off without changing anything else
