1. Bump - last price drop at £550 this I pretty much half price of the online prices! Happy to look at trades as well
2. I agree, I was more comfortable sanding it down, took longer but looked better
3. I've used a heat gun before although had better results with sanding by hand. Heat guns are really cheap and you can get them from most DIY shops like homebase, wickes etc I got mine from screw fix for about £10 I think
4. Thanks, what about getting like a behringer USB mixer I think it has up to 5 tracks. So I could DI straight from the amp and also recor some guitar? I'm not looking for it to sound amazing just something so I can have a drum beat and for me to record bass and possibly guitar to. Also what about GarageBand on my phone? I've got irig could I DI from the amp into the irig then into GarageBand?
5. I know what you mean about getting a replacement but I'm happy it's all good! Haha will need ear plugs and cans on as well I reckon! I love how dirty this gets. Really happy with it and I love the tone
6. Haha yea I see what you mean, but for me I really like the kinda retro look its got. In comparison to the shuttle, the Orange definitely seems louder when I gave it a whirl yesterday. The eq doesn't really seem to do that much boosting past 2-3 o'clock on the Orange where as the shuttle has the added mid range frequency selector so you have more eq options with the shuttle. However the big part for me is the Orange has so much balls where the shuttle sounds good but just a little too clean for me. I've read around that some couldn't get a clean tone from the Orange, I could with the gain around 9 o'clock The Orange kind of reminds me of my old Trace Elliot V6. One of the things I prefer on the Orange, which really is silly, but there isn't any lights flashing at me saying limit or signal overdrive......
7. I'm looking to join a band that is up for playing punk either originals or covers. I'm a 25 year old bloke and I've got 11 years experience in a punk rock band. Main punk Influences are Alkaline Trio and Green Day, but listen to pretty much anything Muse, Slapstick, Hot Water Music, Rise Against,Anti-Flag, RATM, Sex Pistols. Love a bit of classical and funk but my passion is in punk rock! Happy to just meet up and jam and do some gigs. I can sing relatively well, used to do traded vocals in some of my old bands songs but feel more comfortable with backing singing. Happy to join a Green Day or Muse tribute band My only condition is absolutely NO drugs!
8. I know, but you can never have too much muff.........especially if its free Can't wait to get home and play on the amp again!
9. Well I was given the option of getting a replacement or getting some freebies. I'm willing to take the chance on the amp, I'm sure it's just cosmetic and the warranty will still be in place. So I have got an Electro-Harmonix Bass Big Muff on the way for £0
10. I did flat out ask them....... I think I'll see what they say and go from there
11. Thanks! hmm let me think about that and I'll get back to you..........haha It is new with the dent, I have emailed the place I got it from with that picture and I have asked what can I have for free as its damaged so we will wait and see. I'm happy to keep it but obviously if I can get something for free to make up for it that would be good
12.
MATT BELLAMY - LET YOUR BAND MATES WRITE SOME SONGS.
Chris sings two of the songs on the album, I also remember reading that Chris was nervous as he was taking the lead in writing the new songs while matt was getting married/having a baby. At first I wasn't sure on madness but I kept listening and each time it grows on me. I do actually really enjoy listening to it, yea it's similar to queen but I still think its in Muse's style. I love how it builds throughout and towards the end sounds epic/euphoric especially the falsetto singing. I would say I was a pretty big muse fan, I can understand where people are coming from though, definately is a different sound but for me, still retaining the Muse edge
13. Orange Terror Bass 1000 There is a bit of a dent on the side but it plays fine and can't see or hear any loose bits First impressions, Loud and sounding so good! I love how even with the gain on 12 o'clock it starts breaking up and gives the tone some balls. So GAS struck again however it's all good! Really should join a band again so I can use this!
14. Glad to see its going well, I've never been a fan of neck pups always sound too thin to me Would be interesting to hear this. Have you got any recordings with it at all?

20. Dan Andriano from Alkaline Trio uploaded this photo and I am interested to know what's in the picture. I'm assuming they are Orange 4x10s and also an Ampeg 8x10 What model is that Precision? Is that an Ampeg SVT classic? I assume the Marshall is the guitar head he also uses?
