1. Thanks for all the replies. My knowledge about electrics is pretty non existent, but I get the idea of bypassing but I wouldn't be confident in being able to do it and doing a solid job without a major bodge job. I've taped up the connectors on both cabs really well with electric insulation tape and really covered them loads so no chance of them touching. Had a go with them to test them out and they sound fine to me 😃
2. That's what it connects to
3. So I am removing the tweeters from my cabs as I don't like them or in the past have ever used a tweeter if a previous cab have had them. Taken it apart and there are two wires connecting to it, I have disconnected those so can I now just cover them up with electrical tape then that's the job done? 4. Managed to get a quick blast yesterday, volume at 12 o clock. Sounds really big and wouldn't think they would struggle at all at gigs
5. Haven't been able to crank them yet, but been playing at home volumes and all seems good, I was going to give it a blast today but the neighbours didn't go out! Grrr lol
6. Ok I'll see what I can do. Yea? That would be great if you could, I'm in Aylesbury, thank you
7. Looks like that is what I need but I have no idea how to fit one lol I'll try to do a mic'd recording, I can't really crank it at home but I'll see what I can do. How would I then share it here? I played more with them this morning and do sound good. Seems to have a ton of low end which is nice, even with the bass and low mids backed off to 10o clock there's still lots

9. So now have two 1x15s,sound nice and big. Didn't play it super loud but seems to handle the low b well too which is good to know. Weight wise they are for me on the limit, 22ish kg but can use two arms to make it a lot easier to carry. Cosmetically they both seem good and can't see anything obvious. Tried it with my G3 and my stingray sterling sub 5,whatever it's called and both did well. Currently in progress of putting a band together so won't be able to really crank them up for a month or two but will definitely post in here about them. I think the only thing I've noticed is if you have your ear faced towards the tweeter there's a bit of hiss but turn to look at it face on and it pretty much goes. The description says it's a variable tweeter like the 2x10 but the 15s don't have one, which I would have liked as with every other cab I've had with a tweeter I've turned it off. But overall I'm happy with them
10. Ordered two 1x15s. Not had a cab for over a year so looking forward to getting them
11. Ah ok then. Yea I've used a 4x10 and a 1x15 together and never had any issues. I'm leaning towards the two 15s as I liked the sound of my 15 more than the 410 I had. So that's probably answered my question about which ones I would go for
12. Yea I thought that too. In easy to understand terms, which would move more air?
13. Thanks everyone, it also seems people are using both the 1x15 and 2x10 together. Would that have any benefits over either 2 1x15s or 2 2x10?
14. I want to get back into playing with a band, so anyone got any experience with either of these? I'm looking to either get 2 1x15s or 2 2x10s. Thats my budget maxed either way. Thought about other cabs like trace elliot and ashdown but all a bit heavier than these or more than what I can afford The reviews seem to all be good. I'll run a Markbass little mark blackline 250 into them. I'm hoping to play a mix of genres too https://m.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_bb115t.htm?o=0&ref=mmc_a_0&search=1476721129 https://m.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_bb210t.htm Thanks
15. Ah ha ok. So got the saddle screws today, perfect fit! So I'm happy, delivery was really quick considering it was coming from San Diego. Also because I'm a BTTF fan, the person I was speaking with is called Emmett Brown!
16. Through a Facebook group I was given details of a seller on eBay from the US who had some parts for sale. So ordered some of those
17. If a link could be shared too that would be great. I'm really not good with numbers so trying to find the right ones and convert them either way is more advanced than what I can do
18. So is that the size I'm looking for? I tried an M2 and it's too small
19. *m3s Sadly they are a bit too big so I will try the next size down
20. Thanks Moonbass, just ordered some Mrs so hopefully they will fit. Doesn't matter if they don't fit as they were super cheap for 10
21. I've read up a bit and these screws fit, 18-8 4-48 No idea what that means. Could anyone post a link to that?
22. Does anyone know the size of the screws? I'm thinking of changing the E string ones back to the groove poles as they have been changed at some point to ones where you have to use an Allen key
23. Thanks everyone, I ended up getting a metal file from homebase and sanded down the bits down. Seems to have done the job, although the first one I did was upside down..... So I have been trying to make a bit of a groove in it so I can use a screwdriver like with the other saddle poles if I need to adjust it in the future
24. Anyone have any ideas?
25. I've tried putting the cover back on too but it gets in the way when I play
