I just can't put it down, this is the first Stingray I have owned and man what a beast! I managed to plug in and play for about 30 seconds at home then I realised the time........can't wait to let rip on this bad boy tomorrow! -
Trade completed!
-
I used to have a Trace Elliot Commando 15 about 10 years ago and on it's own was great but in a loud punk band it couldn't cope, I think from memory that was 100 watts but I could be wrong.
I don't know how cheap these would be I think when I sold mine about 8 or 9 years ago I only got about £100 for it, so if it'll suit you it may come up either here or on ebay -
Possible trade sorted
-
Would you be interested in a trade for a USA standard precision?
Just read you wont accept trades so ignore me -
Thanks everyone, it's silly this is the first amp of mine in 11 years that has had a limit light and I've never thought about it until now this one LED showed up.......
-
Excellent thanks Alex! I've obsessed about the light at gigs thinking I'm at max power and thinking eh? Im only at 1 o'clock on the gain, input level and master and thought i was doing some sort of damage as it flashes on and off a fair bit but especially when I really dig in.
-
Can someone please explain to me what the limit light is for?
I'm reading contradicting things online with some saying don't worry at all about the light it's just the valve breaking up and others saying oh don't run with the limit light on as the amp will go into protect mode?
Can anyone clarify this for me please?
Thanks -
Thanks I think......
Bumping this bad boy to the top!
Will trade for anything musicman man related like the sterling ray 35 or either of the SUB series, ideally needs to be a 5 string! -
I removed the finish myself
(its up for trade atm) It was sunburst but I didn't like it so took the finish off and found the lovely wood underneath!

I know, my Blue Ray 5 was bought on it. 9 months of easy 0% payments are easy to get past the missus.

But when you have used it at least 3 times the good old, but they do interest free credit, trick doesn't seem so easy............ -
I was expecting the bass to hit him on the rebound lol
-
Amazing! Nothing better than a beaten up Precision!
Nice cat lol
Good socks as well -
Very nice
its like the fireplace was built for your setup to fit right in, I love the colour of the precision
-
I have to admit I'm never usually a fan of red basses but that one does look really nice!
-
I was amazed at the difference when I changed to chromes, have you got any pics of everything?
-
It really just beefed everything up, I really noticed the lows/low mids have so much more umph in them and the highs aren't as ice pick like they are smoothed out more. Deffinately worth the upgrade!
-
They are Delano PMVC 4 FE/M2, massive improvement over the stock pickups
-
Preferably something along the lines of a musicman, what were you thinking?
-
Hi everyone, some may of seen my thread about removing the finish on this bass at the start of the year but now I am putting this up for trade. It is a 2007 Fender USA Standard Precision.
It's missing the tone knob and has a few dents here and there but nothing major. It is fitted with Schaller strap locks as well.

Due to removing the finish there is a small gap from the body to the neck it's only about 1mm and doesn't effect the playing.

I would say the trade value is £500 (please say if I've got this majorly wrong) and I'm looking for a trade for a Sterling Ray 35 or along the lines of a musicman like either of the SUB series
I'm in Bucks and would be happy to meet somewhere half way rather than posting. I would want to make sure we both are happy rather than waiting on postage etc
Any questions please ask! -

Slightly off topic but is that a mk1 fiesta? -

Is that not too much of a oneness? lol. Just looking at the headstocks I can see it's not
I'm down to 2 P's now one fretted and one fretless, it's hard to let them go!

Lol at one stage I had 5 precisions.......3 being the same model just in the different colours, so being down to 3 is the lowest I've been for a long time!

Did a trade last night with Lozz, my USA precision for his Sterling Ray 34. Top bloke and good communication throughout, no issues at all! Hope your throat gets better in time for your gig![:D](http://basschat.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/%3C#EMO_DIR%23%3E/biggrin.png)
