1. Hi @skitzigol sorry i have only just seen this. Scale length is 34" Bass is now definitely up for sale. If you're interested in the bass please pm me as I don't check back here very often.
2. @dmckee sorry only just saw this. The width at the nut is 1.65 inches and at the 12th fret 2.24 inches. Balance is fine, tho I have to admit I have never really had a problem with the balance of any bass or experience neck dive apart from a gibson thunderbird! Bass is still available. If you'd like to make an offer or get a delivery estimate please just message me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
3. i recently sold my Warmoth project bass/parts to Kostas. I was at first a little hesitant about shipping something abroad but after speaking with Kostas over a number of messages I discovered Kostas was a decent, genuine bass lover, and was glad I sold the bass too him. The transaction was smooth and he updated me when he sent payment and when the bass safely arrived in Greece. Don't hesitate like me and chrisd24 did, take it from us Kostas is a top notch basschatter! Enjoy the project and hope you make a better job of it than i did!!
4. I'm thinking of selling my beloved Duff bass. It's been sat in a case under my spare bed for a year now and I'm having a clear out of my basses to make room (and funds) for my Alpher Mako Elite build. Two things I should make clear before I go any further is that the bass currently has a missing bridge saddle and no strings… the saddle popped off during a function gig last January never to be found again… this was more down to me taking my anger/food rage out on some Chic tunes due to the bride being one of the most unpleasant people I've ever met. Anywayyyyy…. I removed the strings after a while as they were loosened and resting on the pickups in the case. I will try and find a black bridge saddle and restring it before a sale is made but if not can negotiate the price to take that into account. So back to the bass and the reason why this is just a feeler at the moment. The bass belonged to a bass player/producer friend from a band who I looked up to growing up and eventually became a friend and mentor to me and was behind some of the more successful parts of my career as a musician. The bass was a back up and pretty much new when I bought it from him and I toured it for two tours and it got a fair bit of wear on those tours but it was the only bass where I've had non-bass players come up to me after the gig to tell me how great the bass sounded! So aside from some silly sentimental value the bass is up for sale as space and money is required!! Tried to the dings etc as best I can £500 plus delivery or pickup
5. New year bump
6. Selling my Darkglass B3K that I bought from Doug back in 2011, apparently it was hand wired by the man himself. It was also used in the demo video I did for Darkglass that caught the attention of Alex Webster from Cannibal Corpse. I used this pedal for touring and recording until 2015, last year the switch became intermittent and despite the kind offers to replace it by other basschaters I just haven't had the time to sort it out and im really happy with my bass tone as it is right now. I have a couple of emails from the tech support guys at Darkglass who confirm its most likely the switch as they do wear out eventually, and I have been given a link to the spare part which costs a couple of euros there abouts. I actually gave it a spray with contact cleaner which for a while solved the problem but the intermittency eventually returned - so looking likely to be just in need of a new switch. Obviously this an early incarnation of the B3K but it's my understanding nothing has changed since then and a chance to get a small piece of Darkglass history. The pedal sounds incredible as you'd expect. I hope to maybe get a duality and VMT one day! £110 plus postage Link to video https://youtu.be/21ovdJJwjg0
7. I also have the hipshot tuners for this listed in the other musical instruments section. And I also have a stack pot control plate, including the two stack pots and chrome stack knobs
8. Just to clarify. I originally bought the neck and body unfinished and finished it naturally, then during a period of downtime between touring I got bored and decided to strip it back and refinish it transparent white, and never really got round to finishing it conpketly so the headstock face isn't finished and needs tidying up or just stripping it back and refinishing themselves. Hence suggesting it would be good for somebody wanting to do a project or just wants a cheap no fuss back up bass
9. Warmoth Jazz Bass body. Alder with flame maple top. Finished in transparent white. Routes for p/j or j/j pickups Warmoth Precision Bass neck. Maple with rosewood fingerboard. Clear finish with white headstock front. This was a project that I originally completed, then got bored with it and decided to refinish and never got to finishing the job or putting the bass back together. The warmoth parts are exceptional quality, same quality as fender USA if not better. Underneath that white finish is quite a nice flame maple top. This would be perfect for somebody to strip and refinish to make an excellent bass or just stick the extra parts needed on it for a cheap high quality back up bass for bar gigs or whatever. Tort pickguard routed for a p pickup included as well as neck plate and screws.
10. Bump. Lot of interested and a few offers but still for sale
