The next instalment in my pedal clearout in the spirit of getting rid of stuff i dont use on a daily basis... my EBS Billy Sheehan Ultimate Signature Overdrive, including the special splitter cable for the effects loop and I'm pretty sure I have the box somewhere I just need to dig it out! An amazing and versatile pedal that I've had a lot of good use out of but through sheer laziness I haven't used for months as I can never be bothered to take my pedalboard to gigs or sessions! Pedal is in very good condition, a couple of small nicks in the paint you can see in the photo but in full working order! £160 delivered Now £140 delivered

Selling this great little booster pedal. Amazing build quality and in great condition! Used this as an always on tone shaper, Found it added a nice sparkle to my tone and also felt great to play through, almost like very slight compression. Also great for putting infront of valve amps or drive pedals to just dial in that perfect amount of breakup! Some velcro on thr bottom. I haven't got the box... it was just a generic white box but will make sure its safely packaged up. £90 posted.

I "scoop" mids and have no problem with cutting through. I guess I know at what frequency and by how much to reduce the mid frequencies to not obliterate my tone. I am finding I'm doing it less though it has to be said...though i haven't found to be boosting them either. I think its instrument dependent tbh, I find with my p bass if I don't notch out some 400hz then there is just too much midrange, no articulation etc! There are also those difficult rooms and stages where you just do whatever you can to be able to clearly hear yourself!

Yeah, I was extremely lucky. Somebody had actually got in touch with status before me but the emails from status were going to his spam folder, so thinking he wasn't interested in the neck they emailed me back and offered it to me. The guy was apparently not happy as you can imagine! I don't mind the scratchplate but definitely prefer it without. So happy with this bass! Every note is clear and even and is very responsive to my technique. People tend to believe that graphite makes the tone really bright but this isn't the case, for me anyway. Its no brighter than a normal stingray but there is definitely more clarity to every note. The east preamp is amazing too, that midrange circuit is very powerful.

So below is my original listing. I just sold the preamp today and whilst checking the unit before I packed it up for delivery I have now discovered another fault. It seems to now have a faulty series/parallel switch for the drive channel. Not sure if this is just more dirt or the switch not making proper contact. In one of the settings it occasional sounds like its not quite making the connection but eventually does. I don't have the time to waste on this trying to fix it or find somone to repair. So in a last ditch attempt to salvage something from this pedal I'm listing it for spares or more realistically repairs for somebody who knows something about electronics to maybe fix and be able to use.... or if somebody just needs a practice tool, so it doesn't matter too much if it occasionally has a moment. Not sure how much but i'm thinking £100 as fixed it's a great sounding unit and worth a fair bit more and like i said would probably making a sufficient practice tool. DM me for any questions. Happy to answer and provide as much info as i can!! For sale is my EBS Microbass 3 with original box and manual! This is a great sounding and flexible preamp which also includes a pretty decent tuner too! Used this as part of my live rig for a while on my pedalboard and it also got me though the first few months of covid as a pratice and recording tool! The pedal developed a fault at some point where very occasionally the signal would degraded for a few minutes before coming back to life. Had a few e-mails back and forth with Ralf and Mats (who designed the unit) at EBS about what could be wrong. They suggested a few things but though it was likely some dirt in the effects loop and to ue a patch cable to bridge it. Tried this and it seems to have worked fine ever since so will obviously include a small ebs patch cable, I don't know if somebody more tech savvy would be able to open it up and give it a clean or not! Another point is that foolishly I left the power supply behind at a gig recently, so it doesn't come with the power supply. However I mainly used it with my truetone cs7 pedalboard power supply and it worked absolutely fine or you can purchase the EBS power supply. £175 posted next day delivery ono

For sale is my Carl Martin Valve Bass Drive pedal, with box and manual and kettle lead. I bought this to warm up my sound and add a little eq to the tone. It fattens up the tone quite nicely and also does the full blown overdrive thing. I ran this with the gain at just above zero to get a warm clean sound as I discovered my basses were all too powerful for it apart from my vintage Jazz, I can only assume it was designed for passive instruments as it sounds great with my jazz. I did consider putting a lower gain AX7 valve in it but I just havent got round to it and have moved on to a Tech 21 Ged-2112 preamp but I think it's quite a common thing to do to them. £105 delivered next day delivery NOW £85 delivered for this week

Selling my Darkglass Element in excellent condition including the original Darkglass USB cable and Box, sticker, rubber feet etc. Velcro on the bottom of the pedal. This has been part of my pedalboard for the last couple of years, playing festivals and tours and also for tracking bass during the pandemic to get amp tones. Really versatile and high quality piece of equipment. Works flawlessy and the Element app has recently been updated with new cabsims from Eden and SWR which sound great! Only selling as I recently got the Tech 21 Ged-2112 and this is no longer required so has to go as I'm building up a lot of pedals I never use! £180 posted, next day delivery.

Hi, EBS are now distributed by Hand In Hand. They are lovely people who I'm sure will help you out if they can. Also, always worth shooting Ralf and Mats an email at ebs as they offer great customer support and I'm sure will help you out. I have the neo line 212 and it's a great cab!
-
As far as I can tell it is basically my ebs rig in a combo. A reidmar 502 and a neo 2x12 (I think). I'm sure these combos will sound excellent, I have a session 30 also which I've even gigged with remarkably!

Its not a huge deal.. I'd like just to have the cost difference refunded. It will work, that's the main thing. Not to derail the original post, hope the build goes well and look forward to seeing updates.

Good luck with this! I just recieved a custom stingray body from them too. I didn't realise they could now do nitro sprays as new, would've preferred that to the poly. Over all satisfied with the body though i think it needs a little extra buffing in places. What did annoy me was not giving the bass a rear routed cavity which I had paid for. Sent them a mail to see if anything can be done about this! I did find James very helpful when ordering, im sure yours will be great, especially that colour!

Up for sale is this brilliant preamp pedal by Broughton Audio in excellent condition and full working order. I bought this from new as I luckily happened to have been on the Broughton website checking this pedal out when a batch was released! It's the closest I've found at recreating the ampeg sound in a pedal and it is touch sensitive and to me behaves like a tube amp. It sounds great with an overdrive or fuzz in front of it too. The pedal was mainly used for some remote studio sessions I did from home during lockdown and needed that ampeg, driven tone and this pedal delivered. The pedal has velcro on the base but is easily removed and comes with a box. £185 posted

Putting up my Warwick Streamer Stage 1 4 string bass for sale. The growl on this bass is incredible and have only really used the bass for a couple of studio sessions. I have too many basses and I fancy a Stingray and i feel guilty when I see this beauty sitting on the stand! The bass is a German made model from 2000 in very good condition, with flamed maple body and flamed maple thru neck with wenge vaneer and a wenge fingerboard with bell brass frets. I upgraded/changed the gold hardware for black Warwick hardware, Dunlop countersunk straplocks and a brass JAN II nut - the original gold hardware is included in the sale. The pickups and preamp were replaced with Nordstand PJ Blades and a Delano Sonar 2-band preamp and professionally installed. The bass has an oil/wax finish and comes with a tin of the official Warwick wax. The flame on the bass is almost hologhraphic so have attached photo of it in the blazing sunshine and also in the house. The tone of this bass is simply awesome, warm, growly and cutting at the same time! I run it mainly in passive mode and use the preamp if I need a more hi-fi tone. As mentioned the bass is in VGC, a couple of slight marks/nicks but nothing major or very noticeable. Bass comes with a Gator ABS style bass case. Any questions just drop me a message and will try get back to you asap. Would prefer collection than courier and UK sales only sorry. Have now included photos of any little marks/scratches I can see on the bass. The bass approx. 4Kg Thanks for looking

I picked up the last stingray type neck which arrived yesterday. I wasn't quite sure what I was going to make of it but the craftsmanship and fretwork is impeccable. Really impressed. All that's left to do is me to not screw up fixing it to a body and the machine heads!!

I can't comment on the Magni but I have both a Reidmar and neo line rig and a smaller Classic 60 combo and I absolutely love the combo. Completely holds it own for a bar or wedding gig where load in is a pain and I love the tone of it... When pushed it breaks up very nicely... I've seen Keith Duffy also uses this amp on Instagram in the studio. I think the Magni conbo is similar to a Reidmar amp so I think you will like the sound. I really can't fault EBS stuff, spent years using other amps and then suddenly realises they were the amps I love the sound of!!
-
I love my Reidmar 502... I can't really believe that it's not more popular. Ok it's not the smallest, lightest one but it certainly not heavy or massive. In a peli case it's easily transportable. It's also the loudest and clearest class D amp I've used and has that punch that was definitely not there with my old EA or Trickfish. I think it's down to taste obviously but for the cost of a new Reidmar I think the quality is as good if not better than some other amps at least double the price (from my own personal experience). Yes they're made in China but they are built like brick stinky poo houses. I do wish they would bring back the HD350/360 - I remember plugging into one in a local music shop and being really taken by the sound.. I think they are probably more a dominant brand over on mainland Europe but everything goes in cycles with fashion with these things.. I can remember when everyone had those yellow speakers 🤣!

Love my lake placid blue limelight. The only p bass I've owned that I've liked the tone. I sanded down the neck and added some Montys wax stuff and it is so smooth to play now!

attackbass replied to dub_junkie's topic in Basses For Sale
I've got one of these from '97. Amazing basses. I noticed that the horns on yours seem to be a bit flatter where as the ones on mine are completely round. I guess they were all still being hand made back then! This would be a great bass for somebody wanting to start to play 5 strings and a great price!! -
I would personally go.. Tuner > compressor > drive > preamp My thinking is... The preamp is kinda like the "amp" sound (in this case the SVT). So then you can have the drive Infront of the "amp" slightly hitting it a little bit more so you get a little extra breakup from the SVP. Then personally I just find having the compression before the drive gives a more controlled tone and you can then give the drive a little extra slight bump too. That's just me and the way it's worked for me for years. I actually have the SVP and did some remote session stuff over the lockdown and had the billy Sheehan deluxe running Into the SVP into the darkglaas element cab SIM and it sounds glorious!! 😬

HI, Selling the neck from my 3 bolt USA Fender 75 Reissue, with Fender Machine heads and neck plate and screws (though unfortunately the micro tilt bolt seems to have been lost along the way) after totally refurbishing the bass last year. I got the bass back in 2007 staright from fender. I've listed it as spares or repair as after years of touring (it has been around the world more times than I can remember) I could no longer get the neck as straight as I would like, liking a very low action and I playing quite hard After taking it to my tech, he got it straighter and it was fine for playing in the house but as soon as I gigged it was clear it was no longer for me. The neck has been played, the frets in areas of heavy traffic have a lot of wear. Upon completion of the refurbishment of my bass my tech, who is a well respected guitar expert and luthier commented in passing that the neck might just needed a refret to sort it out. This is probably perfect for somebody who wants a project than somebody who wants to have a cool looking fender neck instantly on their bass. The wood has some nice flame figuring in places and the blocks and binding are really cool. I pleaded with Fender UK to try and find me one exactly the same to replace it with but there was no luck! I've tried to show everything in the photos as well as possible. Any questions please feel free to ask.

Selling due to no longer using these at all and just using headphones. I bought these second hand years ago when I was heavily into production but have since just fallen back in love with bass rather than sitting twiddling plugin parameters and editing awful drummers! Both speakers in full working order and very good condition only a few slight marks from moving them about. When I first got them they looked like they had never been used and I have never blasted them and also have the manual These are the series 2 versions before the VXT range and can be found in many a producers studio! I find that they are very detailed an have picked up things on records I've never heard before when listening through them. I guess to my ear they sound like fuller NS10s. Local pickup only as I dont fancy shipping them as I no longer have the original boxes. £400

Having a clear out and no longer have a need to be holding on to these. I removed the pickups and preamp from a Warwick Streamer Stage 1 last year that I restored and decided to switch out the electronics. Great sounding pickups and preamp esepcially when running at 18v. The pickups and preamp were in full working order when I removed them from the bass. Will probably require some work to wire it all up properly again, I will include a couple of new battery clips too as i discarded the originals when i removed it. Should be plenty enough wire to still wire up. Any questions just ask. £80 including postage within the UK
