Thanks for that, they are great basses no doubt. I would say I'm jealous but can't because I've been busy enough with amps/cabs recently and it would be obscene to be gassing after a nice LG5!!! ^_^

I received my L610 today and it sounded amazing with my Puma 500 head........amazing!!!.............until an hour into band practise when it started sounding fuzzy like an overdriven sound so I'm assuming a speaker has gone?????? I hadn't thought about it but after the event I remembered reading that it's just as easy to blow a speaker by not enough power as by too much! Have I been stupid trying to drive a huge powerful cab with a 500W head?

Nah - I don't think Tecamp is really the gear for old school but the 610 should sound great with the Puma for a more modern tone. The best old school tone for me is my BagEnd 115 and the Ashdown Evo500 head - I just love it! As you know have been after another BagEnd for ages but they are very hard to come by. I have paired the BE with an Aggie GS112 and it sounds really good but I just know it would be better with another BagEnd 115. I'm just loving my Skjold and the AC precision - both awesome basses! You really have some great gear now - can't see it getting much better ? Regards

I've had my Puma 500 for a good few months now and there is no noise at all from it. By the way Dood the Tecamp L610 should arrive tomorrow!!! Somebody had to do it!

I'd thoroughly recommend Jo. As well as being one of the best players I know he is keen to develop the musical side of your bass playing. Wasted on me though! I just kept getting him to play stuff I liked.

My Compact should be here soon. I'll report back on how it sounds with my Tecamp Puma500 with and without my BagEnd S115D. I've a feeling it will be 'big' !
